America has become modern day feudal serfdom

The top 10% rule over the 90%. They will work having crap food to survive and access to the internet to salt away the time when they aren't working. While the peasants work the 10% will be concocting varies ways to tighten the screws and extract more wealth/labor...and ways to market those ideas as being helpful to the 90% so they at least keep some glimmer of hope.

If the 90% stay the course and are dutiful they can "retire" at 70-75 and maybe scratch together a living where paying for medical care is their biggest worry.

The relationship between the institution of America and the population of America is absolutely parasitic.

At least there are illusions of freedom though.

Being an average laborer in India or China for example would be a nightmare.

So when it comes to modern slavery, Americans did get “lucky” by comparison.

Everyone in the work force everywhere across the globe deserves a higher standard of living than what they have. They do all the things and get scraps for it.

It needs to be done on a community level. Communities work together to develop life sustaining systems. Break the psychological dependency on the systems that keep us comfortable and reliant.

Communities need to stop shipping the fruits of their labor to billionaires, and use it for their own development and sustainment.

i see everyone doing well. restaurants and grocery stores packed, malls packed with people carrying bags and bags of lux goods, expensive $50K+ cars all over the road, luxury vacations, and people living in $500K+ homes. even the Astronauts are living large.

the standard of living has gone up drastically for everyone year after year thanks to CAPITALISM.

you don't know how good you have it.

But if you have numerous small communities, arent they eventually going to fight each other over turf? And then you have a technological arms race and bureaucracies that create social classes etc?

Isnt that how society began in the first place?
