It's such a trip when people your age start becoming grandparents, especially early 40's

I'm 42 and there's already some grandparents from my HS class

Guys who had kids when they were 20 or 21

Their kids are now also 20-21 and have had their own kids, making them grandpas in their early 40's

Always thought grandpas were old dudes who were 60+, total trip when it's guys your own age in their early 40's

Do these scenarios intensify smugness, decrease smugness, or maintain current levels of smugness?
