You ever find it odd we worship an ancient Canaanite storm deity?

People will tell you with 100% certainty that you’re going to hell for eternity if you don’t worship a middle eastern storm deity whose existence is based on fragmented copies of texts written by anonymous authors 2000 years ago. Anyone else find that odd?

No-one has a clue about anything. We are just going to age and die like every other person or creature we observe. There is most likely nothing metaphysical about this life, though I may be wrong.

I acknowledge modern Christianity is blatant institutionalized propaganda with the sole intention of controlling humans on the individual and collective levels.


It is a bastardization of every religion that preceded it. Don't get me wrong, there is some amazing beautiful messaging in there. There is truth in there, but it is subtle and hidden in piles of lies.

Money, security, tomorrow, yesterday, survival….throw it all away. Everything you value, everything you identify with. Everything you love and hate. Turn it off. You do not need it. Desires and pleasures, fears and anxiety, they are an unnecessary tool you won’t be needing anymore. Just breath. Breath on purpose, and deeply.

When you get there, and all you have is raw unfiltered consciousness, understand there is only one of those. It is the same consciousness being projected into my avatar, it is the same consciousness being projected into my dogs avatar, and it is the same consciousness that was projected into Jesus’ avatar.

There is no separation. Consciousness exists prior to and outside of the human brain. The brain restricts consciousness. It does not generate it. You can turn your mind/body mechanism off and explore this. Do it enough, and you won’t want to come back.

Do what Jesus did and say with significant confidence from this day forward…

God literally told the Hebrews to genocide the Amalekites - men, women, children, the elderly.... EVERYONE. And how does one rationalize killing a toddler just because he/she was born to Amalekite parents?


We're observing the same thing with the Palestinians, the Jews are quoting the Bible (specifically wiping out the seed of Amalek aka the Amalekites) as justification for genociding the Palestinians.

Isn’t it the same thing? We worship the deity that is represented by the Tetragrammaton (Ancient Hebrew had no vowels). He was part of a pantheon of gods that the ancient Israelites borrowed from the Canaanites. It’s even in the Bible, but Christian’s often skip over. It says He was “assigned his portion”, his portion being Israel. The next logical question is, assigned by who? The divine council. With El seated at the head.

I just find this stuff fascinating, but you can’t talk about it with most Christians because their identities benefit from burying their heads in the sand. Identity is something we will fight to the death to protect. I get it, imagine for 40 years you’ve been taught that there is only one God and that’s the way it’s always been and everything is settled. My mind was blown too when I started to actually read the scholarship and it took me a while to pick up the pieces.
