It's kind of liberating to be uninformed

I don't follow politics or current events

And the limited amount that I do know is very superficial

For example I know who the President is but I had to actually look up who the Vice President is

I know there's some war going on in Iran but I don't know why

So I never get into discussions or debates about politics or current events because of my indifference to them

It's freeing to be an intentionally uniformed isolationist who disregards those things

I haven't cared about those things this far along so there's no point starting now
