Narcos: Mexico

Anyone seen this? Dramaticized but all based on true story.

It's insane how deep the corruption is in Mexico. There are government officials still in power who's names are bleeped out in the show because they are still in power, in bed with the cartels

U.s. is fucked up too we kind of have the same with big pharma.... but that's different than this.

how do you save a country that corrupt for that long? they have to want to save themselves.

Super easy to win the war on drugs. There are two well documented ways.

Decriminalization and helping crackheads get clean and stay clean via socialized programs. Portugal has done this. It's worked well.

Execute anyone who is caught with even the smallest amount of illicit drugs. Singapore does this and they don't have crime or drug issues.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Don’t know if guys are aware of this story . Years ago a 21 YO kid here from Nelson BC actually self taught himself how to operate a helicopter. He leased one and was running drugs across the US border . He’d fly as low as possible so he wasn’t seen on radar , and people thought nothing of a helicopter passing by .
Apparently someone narked on him and he landed on US soil and was arrested . He committed suicide in a US prison.
You could nearly write a book on this guy . Gives me catch me if you can from the movie vibes lol

This week one of the big shots on that show is getting sentenced. Hes getting life plus he has to pay back 17 billion usd yes billions.

That’s what I always thought , but I swear these guys can never make enough and keep playing with fire . Or maybe they’re addicted to the game , dunno .
