Mind = Blown people think $25/hr should be minimum wage.

What's the thought process of these people thinking McDonald's workers and Door Greeters should get $25/hr? What happened to working your way up?

It's common sense this will kill a majority of small business. Prices of services and goods would have to drastically increase for business to stay above water.

And big business will just lean more towards AI or robots.

I was making $9/hr at Walmart. Got a poverty degree which put me at $15, then $42k, $52k, and finally at $59k. Job hopped to make $83k.

People making 20-30 dollars an hour get fucked the most


Brb been there 5 years making 24 dollars an hour, the new guy just got bumped from 15 to 25. Now you get bumped a dollar and make the same but have more responsibilities meanwhile every item you buy in town just went up in price to cover the new wages. Cucked


Brb you make 27 dollars an hour as assistant manager been there 10 years. Every stoner 18 year old now makes nearly the same as you and you ain't getting a raise this year since labor costs went through the roof

So why would you take out a 80k loan to go to university woke indoctrination camp to be able to make 35 dollars an hour if you can even find a job in this market when unskilled labor at Costco is making 28 dollars an hour the entire time you were in college and they just got a warehouse supervisor gig now they make 35 just like you with no student loans

Exactly I make around $21 as a first responder if this passes my pay would go to $25 an hour and the Walmart greeter who currently makes $13 an hour would make the same as me. What are the chances this passes?
