Why the Tesla glue test is fraudulent(holding two cybertrucks together)

Adhesives are very strong when they are used in a butt joint being pulled the opposite direction.

If you use it in a car, the forces arn't always in the opposite direction.

Introduce a small crack in the joint with the right force direction, that joint will break immediately.

Welds on the other hand can handle forces in many different directions before totally failing.

Cracks are really the bane of society. Once a crack forms, the whole thing is compromised - sidewalks, ,streets, paint, coatings, you name it.

Can't trust a company that blatantly mislead the public like that. Or maybe they just didn't know that engineering principle I just talked about. If thats the case, why wood you trust em? lol.

For a long time now, glues have been stronger than the materials they hold together. Every car company bonds their door skins using adhesives for example. Literally the most expensive cars with carbon fiber bodies are impregnated with epoxy, which is what holds together the carbon fibers. Tesla makes shit cars, but it's not because they use adhesives.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Yes glues have only gotten better and they're absolutely everywhere now, IE in smart phones. But I'm specifically talking about Tesla misleading people when they used that ad because only a small % of the glue is used in that manner. For example if they are trying to show the strength of the car, what does it matter if it gets wrecked because the car will be in tension and compression, not total opposite direction like if it was being used for towing.

Adhesives might be more advanced but they are still far behind good ole steel welds for general high strength reliability against all forms dismorphing energy.
