Board Question: Are we already in "the dog days of Summer"?
So we're past the 4th of July, and there's not really anything specific to look forward to until Fall. However. we still have about 6-7 weeks until September, so Summer isn't really that close to being over.
When do you consider us being in "the dog days of Summer"? Is this something that doesn't happen until August? Maybe even later?

It is like that void between Christmas and New Year…
Is time even real? Perfect day for a nap.
Can’t wait until summer breaks. Although it is notably not that bad for me here in the Deep South this year. Haven’t seen too many people complaining compared to previous years either. Also, no hurricanes yet. We still got some time. And even though the summer solstice has passed, the temp will still go up a bit. Days are getting shorter though.

I don’t even really consider September summer

And even when it's warmer, the days are much shorter in October so it definitely doesn't feel like Summer.
