So accordingly the SCOTUS ruled that Trump exceeded his power and that's why they were illegal, not that tariffs were actually illegal. Our congress should have stepped in and made them law. Now a bunch of people are about to get paid that really didn't deserve that money. These importers have made money hand over fist for decades and ruinded the middle class.

It's the same with Democrats that are against missile defence covering the US. They will say it's "silly" and "you can't do that" or they just claim it won't work so don't do it. Anything done to protect the country and enrich it's people there wil be people who oppose it because they want the US to lose.

Someone said the golden dome was "stupid" but couldn't answer why. Then someone educated said that if we start doing missile defense it will cause an arms race where Russia and other countries will just build more ICBM's. For one thing, they are already, and second, good luck competing against the US in something like that. Also, they know that it could bankrupt other countries. Trump didn't have the authority to do that, but it wouldn't surprise me if laws were passed in the interest of other nations.

I remember when they passed NAFTA, they said that although some jobs and such would move to Canada and Mexico, but the cheaper labor would LOWER PRICES and the people there would be more financially better off and would buy more from us. Yeah, how did that work out? God damn all the factories and mills closed. Americans are constantly having to adapt to the constant changing market as our jobs are being insourced and outsourced. We have to compete with the world, but they don't have to compete with us. Yet people support it here, because it's good for Mexico and Canada, as well as all the other countries in the world that are fuking us. The US is the most reselliant and productive country in the world and no other nation could fuk itself all of the time and not end up collapsing, but they are sure trying.

You may not like Trump, but he's the only POTUS that will leverage US abilities to get more out of those other countries. No we aren't losing allies. They get upset about things, but the fact is they were doing it all along.
