It's completely overrated. However, it's a great way to build connections and network with people, but I don't know which industry you're in. From experience, I made my strongest connections by getting ripped and talking business. It's the best way to really get to know someone and gather their trust. But to drink at home alone is gay as fuck. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

You should honestly sign up for Toastmasters. It'll literally take you out of your comfort zone, teach you to public speak, and make you more confident. Then you don't have to bang retarded women who just want your money, and actually find a woman who will cook, clean, and suck your dick 7 days a week. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Had some great memories with alcohol but it depends on your biology and personality. Some people can respect it while others abuse it and lose control.
I have had my battles personally and I drink a lot less these days compared to my younger years where I would finish 1-2 bottles of scotch a week with ease. Now I limit alcohol to the weekend and try to keep it under 6 standard drinks for any session.
