Tacoma's are worse than wranglers now
Tacoma drivers are worse than wrangler drivers now
Tacoma's you have a whole contingent of jeep Wrangler type posers decked out in "overland" gear, which looks like it's never been used
PLUS you have dudes buying them and lifting them and putting big wheels on them. absolutely idiotic. just buy a full size since you paid the toyota tax anyway you could have afforded full size and not looked like an idiot
PLUS you have the "muh Toyota" people who pay 10k over what its worth because they think Toyotas will never break and other brands are junk (Toyota reliability isn't what it used to be). just jackin it to the Toyota badge thinking about taking that puppy up to 300k and how much internet cred they'll get in 15 years when they get there (they most likely wont).

Tacomas are gay and poverty trucks. You can barely tow 5,000 lbs. It's a useless truck. (Super Ded fkn Srs)
otherwise its one of the 3 scenarios I outlined

Tacomas are incredibly small inside. If I was to get a small truck it would be the new Colorado with the off road package or the ford ranger lariet
They are charging more for small trucks than full size though lol I got my 1500 for 46k then wanted lows 50s for a Colorado lol

Tacoma's are indeed the office warrior truck of choice. Nothing better than seeing external gas cans mounted on truck in a Publix 50 miles from any trail that would even warrant 4x4 let alone external gas LMAO. Ultimate LARP truck, but damn they are sexy.

Ford is legitimately better than Toyota now if you are buying new
most American manufacturers you can still get a v8, and if you do want a turbo the Ford turbos are far better than the Toyota.

2nd of all, 106k is literally nothing for a modern vehicle. f150s have been almost as reliable as tundras for years (with a few problem year exceptions), but new f150s are far better than new tundras. 20 minutes of research will show you all this. there are millions of f150s with double that mileage with minimal issues (as long as routine maintenance is done).

Toyota fan boys living in the past when Toyotas used to be more reliable, for new trucks at least they've been passed. but they are still living on the rep of that old truck so people are paying 10-15k more for less reliability and less features.
