They are both big enough to however my youngest (17) is finishing up HS while getting his AA at the JC. Not really any time for sports. THANKS!

great thread. quality advice.

I turned 30 this year. Life does get better as you age. I was lucky enough to get a lot of quality advice from older friends in my early 20s to make me a better person. I am glad you made this thread for the young ones.

Thanks brah, Some aren't listening but that's their choice. I just wish at 20 someone had told me some of this instead of me thinking that drinking and slooting was all there was

My daughter was 3 and we lived in govt housing. She called it a pound for people. She wanted to know why we lived there and I told her because when I should have been learning in school, I was partying instead.

Should have paid attention to important stuff earlier. It is so hard for a young male to get a grip on what is important (for them whatever it may be; for me it was family and writing), and head that direction and ignore numerous distractions.

how do you know when you've found 'the one'? did you have any previous girls you thought were the one before you met your wife?

i feel ive stuffed things with my one, met when i was 16, she was 15 and split just recently after 3 years and a few real world stresses we couldnt seem to handle.

There was no one in my entire existence that stuck out like she did. My best advice is if you wonder if she is, then she isn't. You will know. Guarantee. Nah i understand completely. I guess we are both still pretty young and arent the people we were or are going to be when we fully mature, her particularly, she never liked partying but started doing waaaay too much of it once she turned legal.

At what age did you realise a family was what you wanted? this breakup has sorta done it to me, most of my mates just wanna go out and smash randoms but ive done that enough since we split and it really isnt for me.

Question for you wise one---I dated my oneitis for 2.5 years. She broke it off after she messed around with other guys and I WK'd the eff outta her. Basically she was hurting from her high school oneitis and I was the long rebound. Met her in nursing school, were both nurses now. Still think about her constantly and compare my current gf of 1.5 years to my oneitis.

Bc my oneitis is a nurse, still see her around professionally some. We worked at the same hospital for a while....its over for her though.

Anyways, I have moved on the best I know how, but I still cant get completely over her. My current gf is the best gf on paper ever. I do love her, but its different than with my oneitis. Current gf is a virgin (so was oneitis), loyal, smart, dedicated, religious like myself, etc. She is very similar on paper to my oneitis, but she just doesnt give me those awesome feels I got with my oneitis and I dont know what to do.....part of me thinks that no woman out there will give me the feels my oneitis did. Its almost that first love feel that no one forgets. Im 4 years older than my current gf, so she doesnt intimidate me or fascinate me from the standpoint of "dating" Its almost like its TOO easy....wut do?? Could give more info but I dont want to write a thesis on here.....

Definitely agree on the chasing things that don't matter.

RE women: Guys need to understand that you reap what you sow, if you surround yourself with loose women, drugs and alcohol...don't expect to find women of quality there (yes good women do go to bars - but the odds of you finding high quality are statistically against you).
