OP how do you know that the decisions you made at 20 didn't shape you to become who you are today? You could have a multitude of other problems if you didn't make the choices that you did.

This is true, however I have pretty much the same desires now as I had at 25, family, writing, etc. I just didn't believe in myself early enough to move ahead.

I'm 27 years old and honestly have no idea if I want a serious relationship or not. I've done quite a bit of manwhoring in my past, so it doesn't appeal to me that much anymore. However, the idea of being with one person who cares about me sounds appealing. However, I am scared that if I get into a committed relationship, I fear that I would lose feelings for my partner to seek out more strange and wind up destroying her emotionally. Any thoughts OP?

This comes up in a variety of forms but: you dont just settle for ANYone you seek out the ONE. And if you have to ask if she is, she isnt. You will know when you find that ONE. Trust me
