Dr said random roll of the dice. I live in Pac NW and we have a very high rate of some cancers here that no one seems to know why. Also might be all the sweet and low I ate when I was younger. That was the only sugar free sweetener around then.

So much inspiration. I really do take heed. I'm a self consumed egomaniac sometimes, sometimes I get sad because I don't like my personality, I wish I could be 'normal' and have the girls, be the popular charismatic guy etc, maybe some of my concerns are fair, we all want to be accepted but tonight I took a walk down the beach with my dog, no ipod, just me and the silence of a cold December night. I sat down and just gazed at the starts and it dawned on me how fortunate I am. In that moment, I was completely safe, I wasn't starving of hunger, nor was I living rough, I was able to do what I please, able to enjoy the simplicity of a walk with my dog without suffering It actually brought a tear to my eye.

Its good biz as long as you do repairs yourself. There will always be repairs and some will be expensive. If not, a good portion of your income will go to someone else all year long.

A tore up kitchen can cost 10-20k to fix, half of that is going to be labor

Will rep for life for anyone who posts all of OP's life lesson on one post.

Hey,
Dont write yourself off yet
Its only in your head you feel left out
Or looked down on
Just try your best
Try everything you can
And don't you worry what they tell themselves
When youre away.

nobody will give you anything in life, if you want something, go get it! show no fear!
you cant succeed unless you try, give it your best shot!
Im all about self-improvement, being the best I can be
lift heavy, train hard, any less would be wasted effort
relax, its just life.

I rep back

So someone PMd me and accused me of suffering from "Dunning Kruger".

"The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate."

I would have liked them to explain when I said I was better than anybody else, but of course they didnt. In fact I always tell people, you can do it too. But there are many who just wont listen and I let them be themselves.

People just like using big words, I know a fella who liked to use that 'Drunning Kruger effect' phrase all the time.

It only sounds smart once.

I find it interesting that the people that call others out on DK, are often the ones who are suffering from the effects of it.

Lol I havent been married but I have already found what I assume as 'the one'. But there's still an issue between us that can drive us apart.

I'm always interested to learn something from people who have long and happy marriage because unfortunately I can't get that from my parents as theirs didn't last that long...

One long-happy marriage is one of my life goals
