She was my first relationship. Idk I didn't want to live my life thinking "what if?". I feel like sooner or later I would crack and better now then after we get married and have a kid. I never in my life planned on getting married this young and I felt she wanted that sometime soon.
I don't think LTR's are garbage. I've always wanted to get married.
Honestly I never expected to feel like this...I've never felt this depressed and sad before.

This is not directed at OP. Just something that I'm reminded of when i saw a poster say you're too old to be misc'ing.
The most depressing thing in life is meeting people that are middle aged that believe they are too old to experience adventure, new things, or live youthfully. Nothing irks me more than hearing middle aged people say, "I'm too old for that." It's usually the same people that in their 20's and 30's that switched out "old" for some other excuse. Worse, they generally talk about all the things theywishthey could of done.
Wish in one hand and sht in the other. See which one fills up quicker.
Don't prance around. Take action. Ride the momentum.
My advice to the young pups reading this thread. Don't EVER give up on your dreams. And surround yourself by people who likewise are unwilling to give up theirs. Stay away from those that don't fit this creed and you will be much happier and accomplish much more.

Here are the real facts of life:
You will always have adversity whether weight, body type, height, skin color, cultural differfences, etc. And you will make mistakes.
Do not let those perceived drawbacks define you. Only you can decide if your height, weight, skin color, culture, will define you. If you sit down in the mud puddle and pout, you will have two things: muddy clothes and wet clothes.
Dont let the things that have happened define you. I don't care who told you were you a victim, or inadequate, or untalented, or stupid or fat or a wuss, or anything else. Get up, shake it off and push ahead. No one has had an easy ride. And if they have, they are going to hit a wall someday from not learning what they needed to learn to handle it.

When you were younger did you feel like you were missing out if you didn't go out every weekend?
It's Friday. A lot of my friends are staying in with GFs, some are working, some do not want to go out, etc. I feel lame for not going out on a Friday, i.e. get drunk.
I know there is nothing wrong with staying in, but it feels "loserish" to do so. The irony when we go out sometimes is the letdown of getting yucky.
Old man wisdom please.

Union Strong. Workers are stronger together.
The GOP is a criminal organization who despises the middle class and working poor. Name one policy they have pushed for that increased worker pay, union strength, or worker influence in a corporation.

man i cant wait til 100 year old u will drop wisdom on 50 year old u
EDIT: srs question to OP. If my passion is making music, like 100% music, so much that I have dropped out of school for now (I am also fortunate enough to be extremely financially stable due to my lifestyle and decisions I have made.), and I feel like I will regret it and be depressed doing anything else. Would you feel it is in my right interest to make music? I am 22 now, and am willing to do this til I am 35 before I quit(edit: scratch that, I wouldn't quit). It is the one thing that keeps me from falling into severe depression. Thanks, and great thread.

If your passion is making music, make it. Do whatever you have to (legaly and morally) to move that forward creatively and financially. Be voracious about it, let no one or thing stand in the way. And start now.

Also I would say- Ignore detractors, while at the same time have 2 or 3 people that you trust that could speak into your life and help you file off rough edges.
