I think I understand you OP, I think it's just the vibrant orange and blues with the dust(?) particles and smoke..they should've made it more gritty looking and less vibrant..though all their BF covers are the same design more or less.

edit: Holy hell @ the amount of people turning this into a racial thing rofl..okaypeaceoutbye.

Slightly upset it wasn't a pansexual gender fluid person on the cover, but it's a step in the right direction. Hopefully the storyline follows the heroic black man fighting against the evil whites.

Obviously this cover is pandering to the sjw agenda. There's no doubt there. Probably a little bit of attempting to tap into the urban/hip-hop community and culture that is so prevalent in the U.S. today as well. Not taking away from the blacks that fought and died whatsoever but the cover is a bit of an odd design. Will still buy game over the new CoD.

This. To be honest, it should have been a hispanic woman, as there were handfuls of them making clothes for the soldiers back home. Their struggles and accomplishments are underrepresented and trivialized by the white soldier. In fact, white soldiers should not be included in the game at all, as that would trigger my micro aggressions.
