Ever tell girls about a hobby of yours that seems to turn them off? srs

i work in professional wrestling part time (im in real estate too but thats way less interesting)

sometimes when i mention it to girls i get a positive response, but i feel like sometimes i feel like its a turn-off for some (inb4 insults towards wrestling)

truth be told ive always had a passion for it and ive been performing for a few years now

sometimes i feel like i should not bring it up, but its a big part of my life and i dont think i should have to hide that. seems like nerd culture has been overwhelmingly accepted in society except for wrestling

and before you decide to make fun of it, know thats its more cardiovascularly intense than you could ever imagine. gotta be in really good shape to perform even for 5 minutes

do you guys ever just not mention things you enjoy for fear of being ridiculed for it?

Some girls knowing that I've competed in MMA is a turn off for them. I don't know if it is intimidating or maybe I come off as a brute or what :shrug:.

Good job OP, many girls will hate wresting which might seem bad, but eventually you'll find that girl that thinks it's incredibly awesome. Better to have a polarizing interest that a few girls are crazy about and many hate instead of saying your interest is hiking which most girls won't reject but will only kinda sorta be interested in.
