Most likely a bomb given the circumstances. Almost certainly the wreckage has already been found. No emergency call was sent. This plane almost certainly blew up in the air. Sad af.

What I don't uneed stand is if this was a terrorist incident why wait until near eygypt. Surely it would have had an even bigger impact if they blew it up as it took off

Sick. In Greece I got world news on multiple channels, US news is so isolated.

What this does suggest is that it is more of an incident in the cockpit itself of that aircraft. It does suggest it wasn't necessarily blown out of the sky by a missile potentially... it wasn't necessarily a device on board. It would suggest that the pilot has been involved in some way in an incident in the cockpit."

from CNN
EgyptAir Flight 804 from Paris to Cairo disappeared from radar with 66 people on board, the airline said. Here's what we know so far:
• The Airbus A320 was flying at 37,000 feet when it disappeared.
• Greek controllers tried to reach the plane 10 miles before it left the country's airspace but received no response.
• The plane "swerved 90 degrees left and then 360 degrees to the right" before plunging into the Mediterranean, a Greek official says.
• The location of last contact was 173 miles (280 kilometers) from the Egyptian coast, the airline said.
• A distress signal was detected in the vicinity where the flight disappeared from radar 2 hours later, but it could have come from another vessel.

Bbc
an egyptian aircraft disappearing without a mayday alert is bound to raise the spectre of terrorism. But the truth is it's far too early to say why this plane vanished.
Whatever happened, it happened too quickly for the crew to raise the alarm.
Initially, the aircraft seemed to drop off the radar at 37,000 feet, suggesting a sudden break-up. It's very rare for modern planes to simply break apart in mid air. That means an explosion was a real possibility.
But then the greek defence minister described the aircraft making sharp turns and dropping height quickly. That suggests it was intact for longer.
Even in the worst emergencies, pilots tell me they should have time to call for help, once they've got to grips with the problem. But not always.

If you don't think that sounds like a terrorist act you need to go kill yourself. The fact it originated from Paris is scary AF though, would think they would still be on extremely high alert.

I think the plane was hacked. Just like MH370 the hacker took control just as the plane was between air traffic control zones. That's not the only thing that is the same with those two incidents. The hacker also cut off ALL communication links, something that is impossible even for the pilot to do. You need to be inside the computer to do that.
And to top it all off our hacker friend also picked a plane with the flight number 804. The precise number of days that have passed since the first hacking of MH370 and MS804
It was hacked. Most likely the hacker is on the phone right now with the french authorities negotiation a couple of billion dollars to stop him from smashing 10 planes into the sea tomorrow.

1. "It wasn't an islamic terrorist act! How dare you?! You Trump-sympathizing something something racism xenophobia nazi hitler!"
(fast-forward to after the authorities declare it was in fact an islamic terrorist act)
2. "These people don't represent us! It's just a few bad apples who misinterpreted the teachings of islam!"
(yes, because it's so easy to misinterpret "anyone who doesn't believe in my brand of sky wizard must die")
Rinse. Repeat.
