what if he did successfully prevent the killing of jfk like he did and instead of a dystopian society that was in ruins everything had worked out for the better, what would he do to prevent someone from going into the wormhole in the future and resetting all of his work? or does it just reset everything for you if you go in there. because he'd have to make sure NO one ever goes in the wormhole again or it would ruin any sort of change from that point on.

anyway, i guess that's why its a tv show. i still enjoyed it tho
I wondered the same thing. I thought the series was excellent though. Was expecting a cheesier ending.

As for current binge, I'm halfway thru the Night Manager (6 episode series). Pretty solid.
I call it "Celebration". It's sexual, and violent...

Silicon Valley, saw some brahs make a thread about it a few days ago... pretty funny
It's absurd to worry about what other people think about you because they almost never do. Like you, they are too busy thinking about themselves and how much they think other people are thinking about them.

One thing that I don't understand is why Jake couldn't have just taken Sadie through the wormhole to the future. If the future was so bad, he could've reset everything.

i kept thinking about that weird part where he talks about the clothes hanger and how he told her to clean her "wormy hole"...weird scene
Nah UK brah here. Watched the entire thing on the site that rhymes with footlocker.

Spoiler!
I haven't read the book, but your wormhole (no homo) query is a good question. If there were any serious consequences, i.e. apocalyptic America, he could just go back and reset everything.
My guess is that if anyone entered the wormhole and tried altering things, then they would have to alter the previous persons actions to change the future.

From what I gather, the wormhole only exists until the surrounding environment significantly alters. Maybe the dystopian world was a sign that the past was altered significantly right to the point of where 'the past fuks you' (whereby the wormhole ceases to exist and then Jake is stuck in his new timeline for worse). So he goes back and resets everything. Then The Yellow Card Man tells Jake that he has tried every possible thing to save his daughter and ended up being stuck, reliving his own loop.

The thing that I don't understand, is that (Al?- the old guy in the beginning) and Jake both enter the same timeline (1960s) and their actions affected one another in the same present timeline (remember the JFK on the tree). Also, everything Jake saw, the old guy had witnessed the very same things. The one thing that confuses me, is what happens if two people enter the wormhole together, then one leaves. Then the person that left re-enters. What happens to the person who was still in the wormhole? Do they become trapped like the Yellow Card Man?
