Cuisinart GR-4NR 5-in-1 Griddler. I got the cheaper one that is silver and has the red dials. No idea why it's cheaper--from what I understand, it's the exact same grill as the $80 one (but apparently red dials are less popular?). So far, it's been a pretty great purchase. We use it all the time.

Pretty much. Depends on the County and what you buy. Long guns, takes like 10 mins. Handguns, even for LE take a couple weeks to verify

Really? At least they're consistant in oppressing everyone. Does NY have a handgun roster like CA?

IIRC, we've had this discussion with Ogre and Nick911. It seems that it's easier for a no-LEO to buy a handgun than LE. Can anyone confirm.

Takes 6 months to get a permit, even just for target/hunting. Much quicker for LE

Right, Nick has a permit. Don't the non-LE just have the new pistol added to the existing permit?

ETA: what did you buy and why haven't you posted a pic of it?
