OP, repped. Some say you're being an A-hole, and in a way I see that BUT what is really going on is you are playing on their attitudes. Your video and experience goes to show why they make the wages they do and why we don't need to pay these people $15/hr. They should act professional if they wanted professional pay. I will say a few did, but most of them didn't. They should have taken and processed your order with no fuk's given and you would have just wasted $100. The only people who should have been mad are the people behind you who would have to wait longer. It also shows how Taco Bell's management has failed to address an obvious issue. If they changed their pay to some type of commission system, where they COULD make $15/hr if they worked really hard, things would change. They would get more done with less people, and the people who were serious would stick around, while the slackers would leave without having to be even asked.

Straight hourly pay is only good for the type of jobs where you are paying someone just for their time and that's it. Any job that requires productivity should have a pay system based on productivity. What hourly pay also does on a productive job is makes employees HATE it when it's busy, and love it when it's dead. It also kills the motivation of productive people when they see slackers getting the same pay and not working. I had an hourly job about 3 years ago, and I remember that after a short time, my numbers were higher than everyone else's except one guy that was there twice the hours I was, but he barely beat me. Of course my co-workers had lots of reasons why my numbers were higher.... mainly that I wasn't doing my duties and I was always helping customers.... which obviously they don't get it on why we are there.... well were, I quit to a production based pay job. Couldn't be happier.
