Once your logged in and on the market page you can either set a price you want to buy at + how much you want and wait until someone sells to you ("the Bids" list), or you can just buy from someone selling ("the Asks" list)

OP CryptoCurrency isn't the most lucrative way of investing money anymore. This ETH nonsense will only hurt not help people. Bitcoin is the premier web based currency and has taken a plunge recently. No one will be able to make profitable investments unless you somehow invest in your electricity that could power all of China, not to mention all of the mining equipment you would need.

cash and miners are moving over to ETH because it is superior technology without the problems that BTC face

obviously daytrading ****ty altcoins is stupid, but bitcoin has some big problems that are only now coming to fruition. everyone is looking for the next alternative and ETH looks to be it.

everyone should be dropping some cash in, i cant see how this isnt guaranteed profit. just dont get carried away, because of course nothing is certain.

Wait so the logic is that due to BTC halving in value, an influx of people earning (creating) this other currency will mean buying now will somehow increase the value of what you have of the new currency?

Been following and dabbling in BTC for a while now, pretty good for buying grade A supplements on the dark markets nomsayin?
OP can you aware me on why ETH is superior to BTC except for the blockchain limitation? How adopted is it, can I actually use it to buy anything yet or do I need to trade it to BTC first? Thinking of dropping a couple hundred into it.

in to see bagholders
remember the time bitcoin exploded and miscers were buying it at its peak ($1200)
I see lot of ETH bagholders in this thread.
RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH before putting your money on anything that's posted on misc. If it's too good to be true, it is.
price was at 0.002, today it's at 0.03. How likely is it that it'll go higher after looking at the fact that most cryptocurrencies die out and barely reach $1 even after years of being in the market?
chances are slim to none and if you're buying this garbage at its peak, might as well throw your money in homeless shelter, that way you'll be getting blessing and someone won't have to sleep empty stomach.
As someone who is Hero member of bitcointalk forum, I can tell you most of the volume on bittrex (biggest exchange of eth at this moment) is FAKE, meaning someone is manipulating the market and buying/selling to himself.

pretty sure its well known that if some of the original Bitcoin traders were to buy out, the market would almost collapse

I have like 100$ on webmoney that'll be very troublesome to transfer to my bank account, so probably gonna look into it OP.
the DAO thing seems really interesting. do you know if it's planned to create multiple DAOs or just this one?

read up on the DAO thing - seems like a complete scam. I predict it'll be a chitshow where within a couple of months it'll split up into like 100 separate DAOs. Also the fact that it only invests in projects suggested operated and voted on by Token owners means that they will invest in stupid things that will yield minimal return or loss - as opposed to just putting the money in the hands of a hedgefund or w/e.
Ethereum though seems interesting

i remember investing 1,000 into a penny stocks oil company after speaking to the MD when i was 19. my dad said i was wasting my money, blah blah, so i cashed out for around 1,400. 6 months later, they would have been worth almost 40,000.

absolutely thrilled with btc.
withdrew 3.3 btc from the site I play on Wednesday at midnight, first to blockchain, which takes about 15 minutes, then transferred to coinbase, which took a while so I went to bed. Woke up Thursday morning and saw the BTC sitting in coinbase, sold it for, and withdrew the USD into my checking, says it would take a 1-2 business days. Woke up this morning and see the money in my bank account. Whole thing took just over 24 hours, for a 1500 dollar withdrawal. Love it. Not bad for a 200 dollar initial deposit last week.
BTW bitcoin went up about 30 dollars since yesterday, now trading at $475 USD/BTC
ETH is down from the original post, to 10.79 currently. Time to buy?

Just bc some of you weren't around, let me aware everyone of something.
In 2014, a miscer made a VERY similar thread hyping some crypto currency. Turns out he owned a ton of shares and was trying to jack up the price before he sold. Basic pump and dump. A bunch of miscers bought in and all lost their shirt- then the guy vanished or was banned.
Not saying OP is doing the same thing, but stay safe guys.
