A phone that came with a spare battery and cradle. I never understood why people hated on the s6(non removable battery) until I bought the v10 and it came with the cradle and battery. No longer am I a slave to wall outlets.

Edit: not really a purchase but getting a sleep study done has changed my sleep life tremendously.

If we're talking about inanimate objects, then my Seadoo wave runner was the best purchase. I bought one 11 years ago, sold it and upgraded to a supercharged 4-tec 215hp wave runner and then finally sold it 2 summers ago. I miss it. I regret selling it. I went to FL with a friend in 2003 (yeah I'm old) and rented jet skis. I was hooked since and bought one shortly after the vacation. He bought one a year later and we used those things so much.

Otherwise, undeniably my best purchase were my two dogs. They are best friends and provide so much happiness. Hiking, rafting, camping, walking, fetch in the lake....they are endless joy. They're always excited to see you.

My dog. He's actually laying next to me using my foot as a pillow right now as I write this. Man's best friend couldn't be more true

If dog doesn't count then I once booked a flight to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to go snowboarding. It was last minute and the flight alone was over $1,000 but it was worth every penny.

Life passes most people by while they're making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.

My desktop PC. Purchased it in 2010/2011, and has been my baby ever since. Computer is still strong enough to play more modern games. Some parts are currently failing on me and need to be exchanged, but this has been my most satisfying purchase by far.

Probably my bicycle. So many good times.

Maybe a basketball too.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Def gyno surgery. Cost me 5K.

Tijuana and Pattaya was fun though.
That sounds incredible. My belgian friend I met backpacking is going to thailand in july and I am thinking of going. Been dealing with a lot of mind ****s lately, maybe the trip would help.

Where did you get your gyno surgery done? And how did it come out? In the US the average surgeon is 3-4k. A quality surgeon is 7k. I need it done bad.
