Why do you think feminists are so pissed off......
Pure jealousy and bitterness towards males, males will always be the dominant sex, males will always be physically stronger than females and perform better in sports.
You can kind of understand anger at our own biology, that's why they want to change little boys, hoping they won't grow to be like men, pure foolishness.

not really that surprising. this bonrar riddled team is about at their physical peak, don't pro teams scout 15 year olds on the reg?
you *******s must realize these women, although they look like roided beast on tv sometimes, are usually 5'0" and 60 lbs, no way can they compete physically with teen dudes. their little stumpy veiny leg stride is just not enough.

Wasn't even the national under 15s squad, was a team from Newcastle which is a mid-sized town a few hours north of Sydney that has a population of like 100,000 people, and even they could muster an under 15s team good enough to beat one of the world's best ladies teams LMAO.

women have no need to be good at anything, they are there to be ****ed and impregnated so we can have more kids. The better looking the female the better the partner she secures, usually.

So if boys played 5 sets of tennis at a high intensity they deserve to be paid millions? Even if women played 5 sets they should still be paid less because they aren't as valuable to their employers.

Pay is about what a person's work is worth to others, not about what they "deserve". Women and boys aren't entitled to equal pay if their sports do not generate the same ticket sales, sponsorships, TV deals. This is what leftists and feminists can't get their heads around because they don't understand economics. When women's tennis doesn't have to piggyback off the men's tour, and can generate huge money in its own right, THEN they can start demanding equal pay.

I can never wrap my head around why this is so hard to understand for people. If anything women sports are already losing money for governments and boards because they are siphoning excessive amounts of money off profitable men's sports.

Just recently the Australian government is planning (or just implemented) a massive amount of money to go into televising women's sports. Basically wasting tax-payer money to give to Tv stations so they'll play women's sports that hardly anyone wants to watch. Mind blowing.

This. In the US there is something called Title IX in collegiate sports. Cliffs is that mens athletics departments are subsidizing womens athletics which are losing money. They don't even generate enough funds to stay afloat by themselves much less actually generate revenue. Chit is a prime example of real sexism. Basically getting taxed for being men.

The amount of physical exertion has virtually nothing to do with the way professional athletes get paid. It has absolutely everything to do with the amount of capital the athlete brings in via fans paying to watch them play, how many views watch them on the television, how much merchandise they sell their sponsors, ect. If physical exertion was a primary contributing factor to salary then marathon runners and triathletes should be paid much more than baseball players and golfers, but its just not the case.

It's like this everywhere. A provincial/state team of under 16 boys will usually tune the national women's team in any sport.

My brother played under 15 or 16 soccer for a provincial team and they destroyed the women's team that won the national division 1 uni title the previous year.

In hockey the women's national team wouldn't be able to handle a decent AAA Bantom team.

Women's sports make me lol. They're decent at tennis though.

My wife and i get into this discussion often - and in general I think for corporate jobs the best best jobs should go to the best person and they should get paid the same, whether that's man or women.
But sport is all revenue based and you get a % what your sport brings in whether you are male or female. It's that simple. Plenty of men in low tier sports earning no money compared to tennis, nba, soccer players.
It's like two people setting up a stall at the markets - should they get paid the same cos they put in the same amount of work but one chose to sell an item that is much more popular?

On these Aussie soccer women, I think they were seeking maternity leave and equal pay with the men for playing for Australia - WHICH IS A REPRESENTITIVE team..... Not your job. Every time Australia plays is a another chance to be selected and represent your country.

Another event dubbed a "Battle of the Sexes" took place during the 1998 Australian Open[33] between Karsten Braasch and the Williams sisters. Venus and Serena Williams, aged 17 and 16 respectively, had claimed that they could beat any male player ranked outside the world's top 200, so Braasch, then ranked 203rd, challenged them both. Braasch was described by one journalist as "a man whose training regime centered around a pack of cigarettes and more than a couple bottles of ice cold lager."[34] The matches took place on court number 12 in Melbourne Park,[35] after Braasch had finished a round of golf and two beers. He first took on Serena and after leading 5โ€“0, beat her 6โ€“1. Venus then walked on court and again Braasch was victorious, this time winning 6โ€“2.[36] Braasch said afterwards, "500 and above, no chance." He added that he had played like someone ranked 600th in order to keep the game "fun."[37] Braasch said the big difference was that men can chase down shots much easier, and that men put spin on the ball that the women can't handle. The Williams sisters adjusted their claim to beating men outside the top 350.

An 18 year old 4th ranked Serena Williams claimed she could compete with men in professional sport; the US Open champion believing she could take on and beat the best players in the men's game. Nothing ever came to be from this claim.

Not really that decent.

Not a surprising result really. Women's soccer is still in a developmental stage as a sport and so won't attract the most gifted athletes like other sports. You only have to look at them physically. Pro male soccer players look like athletes, female soccer players even the top ones look like they just came back from dropping off the kids at school. You used to have this in female tennis as well until quite recently, many female players looked like they never went to a gym, but that's started to change now.
