She isn't getting the short end of anything. She's robbing his ass blind. Just because he fuked up and cheated doesn't entitle her to millions of dollars. If she had cheated, I bet she'd still be getting millions and you'd be on here claiming that was his fault too.

I dont think spousal support goes on in perpetuity, so it may have made financial sense to put up more on the front end depending on his coaching contract renewal or something. Also, he paid her extra to destroy their frozen embryos, so.
It's still like 20% of his income, but you never know what type of assets and chit they split up. He actually prob got of easy considering the stipulation.
I wonder if it's divorce attorneys who keep shiit so sideways like it is. A dude is probably way more willing to lawyer up if he knows hes about to get raped financially. Dudes are more likely to attempt an amicable, no lawyer solution, so it fully behooves divorce attorneys that the law favors the women.

He should have to pay! He had an affair and just left his wife and kids for his mistress. She was with him for all those years and took care of all his kids while he was playing a game. If he had no prenup then he got lucky she didn't get more.

a legal calculation system which determines the amount a person pays child support.
it is still implemented for no fault divorces - fisher lives in new york so probably a no fault divorce.
The calculation is skewed for high income earners and is not justifiable at all.

Everyone who gets married believes they found the special girl who won't do bad.
Reality check: any girl who wants you to sign a legal document that literally will only benefit her in the event of a break-up should be the loudest red flag on planet earth.

if the divorce happened in NY it would be a no fault divorce and therefore his infidelity would be irrelevant to the decision of his ex partner getting ridiculous money for child support.
as the only thing would be relevant would be his salary

Everyone who has ever been married thought they found the one. No one goes into marriage thinking they're going to get cheated on or get divorced. Such an unnecessary risk with no payoff. Unless you're a female... in which case you should absolutely try to get married.
