People generally think because I am short, small and transgender that I am not in great shape. Here are some of what I can do physically for 1 rep max, I would challenge others to try to do the same:
Squat: 225 lb (below parallel, pause for 2 seconds at bottom)
Bench: 135 lb (yes, this needs work, I admit it)
Deadlift: 205 lb (I feel like a can pull more, but my grip gives)
Overhead press: 85 lb (standing with no jerk)
Barbell curl: 45 lb (no swinging)
Treadmill: 1 hour at 5.5 mph, yes 1 hour

Just admit that you have body image issues because the thread title alone is an assault on "most on this board".
I don't feel bad for you at all.

I can't tell you how many times I went to parties and clubs and ended up embarrassed in one way or another. Here's one example, went out with a few friends after divorce. Keep in mind my friends are not giants or muscle heads, I'm probably in better shape than all of them, most are out of shape. But they range in height from 5'10" to 6'4", all with facial hair. They tried to hook me up with another woman, things were going ok, nothing special. But then some meathead looking guy came over and started hitting on her in front of me. When I tried to tell him to leave us alone, the guy pushed me, I fell down, got up, and he challenged me by saying what you going to do now, ***. My friends are not fighters and they told me to let it go. Worst part is, the girl went with the meathead.

Without body pics, I doubt it. Probably fat and can bench a lot so you think that equals in shape or some other BS.

I feel like I could deadlift more, but my grip gives, if I am not really warmed up, grip gives around 185 lb, but if I'm warmed up, I can get 205 lb. I feel stronger than 205 though.

I posted a color pic in my gallery, you can see the muscles, I am not fat. The bench is probably my weakest exercise.

Seriously, one hour on the treadmill is not easy for anyone. Also, I'm 5'6, so 5.5 mph is actually a decent pace, gets me sweating quick.
Are you saying that you don't believe my lifts?
The only one that I have not done recently is the 225 1 rep max squat. I don't like to max on the squat, but did do 225 about a year ago (to be fair, it was on a smith machine). I squatted 185 for three sets of 1 rep last week though.

And no, treadmill on 5.5 for an hour for anyone who trains on a treadmill isn't difficult whatsoever.
I'm just calling you out because you come here with a condescending attitude saying how you're probably in better shape than the majority of people on here when that's just flat out wrong. I'm in way better shape than you and there are literally thousands of people on this forum that would smoke me in everything I do at the gym.

Its interesting that in your post, there is a note below saying that you are a female not a "manlet". So its ok to be 5'6" as a woman but not as a man?

Out of curiosity, what do you deadlift? Is it a lot more than mine or about the same?

You touch on some great points.
How you identify is how you identify
But you also have to be aware that identifying as both male and transgender you are setting yourself up for ppl to treat you the manner you don't want. I don't agree with that treatment but a lot of ppl are confused and just want an answer to who you are. The less complicated it seems to them the more normal it feels for them again i don't agree, you can identify however you want.
Also there are good ppl out there.

A bit about myself, was straight until 38 years old. I was a fairly normal college educated/white collar professional at a tech company asian american living in southern california. Got married at 30, divorced at 34, no kids.
At 38 started to transition, 40 now but actually still get carded. I'm pre-op, but on hormones. Most of the time, because the way I dress, people think I'm a butch lesbian (helps to have no facial hair growth anymore). I know they say that men who transition after puberty can't pass as a female, but it helps that before I transitioned, I had a small delicate frame, always appeared very young, and no body or leg hair growth. If you saw me at the gym, you would think I'm either a butch lesbian or a weirdly attractive tranny.
Why did I do it? I think I just got tired of all of the games with trying to convince women into physical intimacy and a regular hetero relationship, thinking back it was almost all work with brief periods of happiness. Now, every day I get hit on and propositioned multiple times. The funny thing is that I don't think about sex as much anymore and just content being myself and not having to compete as a man.
In truth, life is much happier now. I work at a nice job, live in a nice place, drive a nice car, work out a lot and generally keep to myself other than a small group of friends.
Also, not all of us are weak. Although the one thing I noticed was that my upper body got much weaker, my lower body strength is solid. I routinely out squat the middle aged guys much bigger than me at the gym and with better form.
I know I will get flamed a bit, but wanted to put myself out there to answer any questions with the hope that it will make others more aware that we are normal people too.

Who I am? I don't fully know either.
When I was a regular man, I struggled sexually but was never as abused as I am now.
I am still a man, but have blocked the male hormones and taking just a little bit of female hormones, as you can see from my pictures I am still a man.
I am confused I know. But if I had to describe myself, it would be a slightly effeminate man.

I don't get it. I've only posted two pictures, both of my torso. I have not posted any pictures of my lower half of body.

That was your response to claim you're in better shape? THOSE stats?

So its ok to be 5'6" as a woman but not as a man?

I feel stronger than 205 though.
