Sad we live in a world where your probably right though.
Anybody remember the tiger from a couple years back where the 3 douchebags were throwing chit at it and it escaped and ate one of them and hunted the other 2 before it was shot?

Seen here for the first time is mother Michelle Gregg, 32, who has four children by father Deonne Dickerson, 36, a man who, Daily Mail Online can disclose, has a lengthy criminal history.
Criminal filings against Dickerson stretch over a decade and include burglary, firearms offences, drug trafficking, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and kidnapping.
Cleveland based Dickerson is from Atlanta, Georgia and studied at Cuyahoga Community College, Ohio and now works as a sorter at a Cincinnati industrial equipment supplier.
Gregg is currently the administrator at a Cincinnati pre-school.

I understand why they had to do it, sort of, but I sure think there could have been something else they could have done. I think they were afraid that if confronted, or if they tried to take the child away, the gorrilla would have gone ape-chit and probably hurt the child in the process. Still, there has to be a better way.

Should have shot the mom and let the gorilla raise him instead, it's clear who the better parent was.

No, the zoo should not be a bunch of retards who have dangerous animals in enclosures that a 4 year old can get into.

There are plenty of kids who've been to that zoo, with its current set up and I'm 100% certain that this was the first case for this type of incident to happen there.
The reason why this happened? The kid was not being supervised by his mom.

Furthermore, if your business model depends on children to coming to see your animal exhibits, you should probably make sure kids cannot easily enter said exhibits.

They should have a trained person at all times to shoot them with a tranquilizer. No animal wants to eat a struggling kid.

Perfectly said by Jeff Corwin (that animal expert guy)
Corwin spoke with FOX25 in Boston, mainly focusing his questions on how the boy got into the enclosure in the first place.
“That’s the million dollar question,” he said. “How did this little boy slip in this enclosure?”
He said the main lesson following the incident is that parents need to treat zoos and animals with respect.
“Zoos aren’t your babysitter,” he told FOX25.
“Take a break from the cell phone, the selfie stick and the texting. Connect with your children. Be responsible for your children. I don’t think this happened in seconds or minutes. I think this took time for this kid, this little boy to find himself in that situation. Ultimately it’s the gorilla that’s paid this price.”

I assume a tranquilizer takes at least a few seconds to kick in.. there's a good chance the gorilla feels the pain from it and goes ape chit ^^
Anyway, it kinda looked as if the gorilla was protecting the kid.. didn't even freak out when the kid started screaming.
