Youre a student already talking about how superior stem is to trades and you're still in school lol. What if you flunk out or you hate CE?

Edit - lol take a look at ops posrs, it's pages and pages of threads he makes of stem vs trades lmao. Op are you struggling with school or something? Why are you so persistent with this stem vs trades thing?

What is your profession, OP? None. You said you are going for your masters. Do you have any experience on the STEM job? I take it as a no so you have no audacity to talk about STEM/trade jobs when you are not even working.

Why you so against trades then bruh. Trades are needed just as much as CE or any stem job. In Canada tradesmen are actually needed because everyone goes the stem route and theirs a shortage or certified tradesmen.

Obviously you're smart if you graduated as a CE so can't understand why you're making so many stem vs trades threads lol.

Edit - people hate on tradesmen because it's the latest thing on the misc. Stem vs trades is a hot topic lately lol

STEM bro with trades background.

Worked in construction and plumbing on/off for 2 years. It was cool to be able to look at a building and know you did some work in there to get it functional.

But the hours, pay and physical demands sucked. Some months I'd be rolling in cash, others, I'd be penny pinching. Freezing balls outside, brb I'm building chit, fuk off.

Now I get to work from home 60% of the time. Go into an air conditioned office. Pay is always the same, get bonuses, excellent benefits and also, I can do this chit when I'm in my 70s. If I fuk my legs up and can't walk, no worries all I need is to be able to type/use a computer.

It still sucks though pouring hundreds of hundreds of hours into something and not physically see your work. That's the biggest thing I miss about trades. I work on my car and mod it for fun though so I still get a taste of it.
