Just lol @ miscers with their "how to beat up a group of guys" strategies. Here's how it would go down: you punch one guy, simultaneously one of those other guys punches you from the side. As you're stumbling, another guy is already winding up to kick you in the head. The guy you punched is now back up, and they're all kicking you in the head. This all happens in about 2 seconds. 5 on 1's don't work like in kung fu movies you idiots.

and no, grabbing someone is the worst thing you can do against multiple opponents. You'll get knocked the fuk out while you're spending all your attention and energy on one dude. Multiple opponents = keep moving backwards/laterally and hope you can land some bombs before they overwhelm you. No amount of weight advantage is going to save you from getting mobbed.

I've been in altercations, but I'm not saying I'm not a pussy. I trained for a good few years in BJJ and MT and, if anything, it *has* turned me into a pussy. Because what it taught me is that you can never ever assume you'll win something because you're bigger or faster or...anything. There are so many more variables to fighting than size. Not only that, the chances of you being significantly hurt even if you 'win' are high.

The best strategy in any fight is to do anything you can to not fight. In a 5 on 1 situation, even more so. If that means taking a punch then, imo, fine. That guy got away with his life. If he'd fought back, him and his girl may have been stomped to death, and that's not an exaggeration.

I know. But they avoided it being worse via...inaction and distraction basically. The guy got away from the girl and nobody touched her after he did.

Btw, I'd be saying something totally different if it was one on one and wasn't in an immigrant area. But in this situation they had no hope in hell of having a good outcome.

Yes you can shoot them. 4 guys attack you? DAmn right you can shoot and argue later that you feared for your life, whether they had weapons or not. A video like the one posted would be in your favor..unless you lived in Sweden or Canada, but then you wouldn't be carrying a gun in the first place.

And just because they sue doesn't mean they'll win and to be honest if you have a weapon on you and 4 guys attack you, and you're worried if you'll get sued, then you shouldn't be carrying.

I think it varies state by state in the US.
Especially in MA dude if someone breaks into your house, you aren't allowed to shoot them. Rather, if you have a "way to escape safely, you must do that first"

That's crazy...I thought the "stand your ground" rule applied to other states as well. In MO if someone breaks in you can shoot them as long as they're not running away while you're shooting.
