Calgary is pretty diverse these days. You will see people from every background. Ethnics started pouring into here about 10-12 years ago since the Albertan economy was so good and the government told them to come here. But whites and then asians are the two biggest ones.

Calgary is awesome, but economy sucks now. I ran into a couple natives a couple days ago downtown who said they were from Fort Mac and they couldn't go back yet. They said they were drinking every day until they could... lol.

Yeah same. I live in Surrey which is pretty much India 2.0. Most brown girls will only date and marry brown guys. Otherwise they're gonna get disowned and excommunicated by their families. Very few only want white dudes and they're usually the ones who want to feel "superior" to other Indians or have terrible family lives and blame Indian culture for it all. But if some white guy wants some mentally unstable chick because her skin color is different, go right ahead. I was born and raised in Western Australia. As such, I don't put white girls on a pedestal like many Indian guys from mainland India would. Born in Toronto, spent all my life in canada, I've spent collectively less then three weeks in the carribean over my entire life time for funerals, and maybe two weeks in the states, none in Africa. My family is cool with it, they think she's amazing. They didn't like my ex as much for some reason (who was brown).
