Don't forget about the 90 year old guy who build Coral Castle all by himself in Florida. Some of these stones weighed as much as 30 tons and you mean to tell me he used levers and pulleys?

There were certainly some tribes without metallurgy however Natives in the Northeast worked with copper as did those in mexico. As far as cattle there were no cows in the Americas. The only real potential draft animal is the Bison but they are a notoriously difficult animal the Bison of today (that are domesticated) have been bred with Cows to make them more docile.

Well, I personally think there's been quite a few time periods where we became very advanced, in just different ways technology, and every 10,000 years or so something happens, a volcano, metorite, something terrible and society is reset, all is lost and the only things that stood the test of time are rocks. The only think we'll leave behind if this were to happen again is Mt. Rushmore and things like the Pyramids would last through it as well.

I'm gonna go ahead and bump this. I'm pretty surprised (or maybe not) that most people are saying that it's no big deal for the ancients to have accomplished what they did. Well, if you want to go by accepted history and use the slave theory with traditional tools, then you also have to play by the 20 year rule which is the time frame for how long the pyramid of Giza took to build. If you do the math on this and take into consideration how far away the quarries were and the increasing difficulty to carry the stones higher and higher up the pyramid we find ourselves in a bit of a conundrum considering the time crunch; it is simply mind blowing.

But the biggest and most impressive thing that goes along with all of these structures, edifices and monuments around the world is not only the similarity in the manner they were built, but the amount of absolute precision taken upon each the building of these structures. The amount of math these builders knew is beyond mind blowing. They were so in tune with ratios, astronomy, geometry, geography, and, seemingly, the Earth itself as a whole, 2000+ years before Aristotle claimed that the Earth may be round.

It's a mirror image because it's symmetrical?...lol that is what symmetrical means. People have been trying to figure out how the Egyptians were able to pull of perfect symmetry since the Egyptians did it in the first place. That statue isn't the only example.

You've confused me. The point I was making wasnt that the image is symmetrical it's that they did symmetrical things with tools they should not have been able to do so with. That statue is not the only example of it.

Sorry, when I said the original, I meant the original statue was just as symmetrical as a computerized image. That's what's crazy.
