if that beach picture is actually where it happened the resort should have had a fence up at night, or at the very least a warning from the front desk when they checked in.

They willingly IGNORED them and encountered DANGER. The end.

As a Midwesterner I wouldn't think gators would be a serious threat at a resort either. It's a foreign thought to someone from far away, you rabid posters might want to consider that.
