I've lived out of home since I was 16, if you don't learn to cook you end up eating chit, it's that simple.

Like 80 per cent of cooking boils down to two dead simple techniques: reduction, and making sauce.

Reduction = put tasty wet things, and tasty not-wet things in a pot, simmer until enough water leaves so the tasty wet things are thick and even more tasty. As a bonus, this process cooks the tasty not-wet things. Bingo, you've now made a stew and like 500000 other recipes.

Sauce = fry fatty tasty things, drain off the delicious, delicious fat, mix fat with flour, add stock and stir. Fuk me, sauce. Add back to what you were frying if you want to get all one-pot with the whole thing. The fat n flour mix is called a roux (pronounced 'roo'), this will impress her more than Dominos.

I never used to know how to cook because My mum always did it for me.
Good thing I got into bodybuilding because it actually taught me how to cook and make my own food haha. I cook probably 4 times a day now and make all kinds of awesome sheet

Is there something wrong with my smoke alarms? Every time I fukin use a fry pan they go off. I've been cooking my whole life and never had this issue.

Went off last night at 11 making burgers. Pretty sure I heard neighbor in duplex knocking on my door ringing doorbell pissed but I ignored them.

I love cooking. It's fun and therapeutic. If you pay attention to detail, you can make restaurant-level food.

Lately, I've been learning how to bake my own bread. Baked some hoagie rolls last week and made my own Italian subs. Hnnnnnng! I'm gonna make more tomorrow.

Who tf still uses a charcoal poverty phucking grill. **** out of here op. I can cook a better tasting steak with a broiler.

Just made basic jambalaya
-2lbs sausage
-2lbs chicken
-1 onion
-1 red pepper
-1 green pepper
-1 yellow pepper
-garlic
-olive oil, butter, salt, creole seasoning to top it off, etc.

Gonna be eating good for a couple of days.
