Not gunna go full vegan or veggie; but I've completely removed beef and pork from my diet, get my dairy from a farm where I know they treat their animals well, have my own chickens for eggs, and only eat free range chicken.
I think I'm doing alright, but vegans still hate on me cuz.

Lol @ you blubbering vaginas crying over an animal getting killed by a superior species.
Brb, tens of thousands of innocent civilians killed in indiscriminate bombings in the middle east by the US, France, Russia and the UK. They deserve it because they happen to share the same ethnicity as those we are at war with now.
Brb, several shooting deaths in the US and crazy amount of gun crime. I'll continue to buy guns and support gun ownership.
Brb, people dying on a daily basis from lack of food and clean water. I'll continue to waste food and water and eat excessively so I can bulk and look jacked.
What a bunch of hypocritical *******s.

In reality all things will suffer with the strong benefiting from the demise of the weak. We already poison the air they breathe and take over their habitats because humanity is the apex predator. We are genetically equipped and inclined to eat animals and plants.
Now I am not saying the way these animals are being killed is right, especially in foreign countries where they have no regulations for humane process. Luckily, most of us don't eat from these places because the USDA bars their meat from entering the states.

Free range is a technicality the industry works around so instead of each hen being crammed into a shoebox, you've got 1,000 hens piled into a small room sh*tting all over each other. Their beaks are sheared off using hot snipping machines to stop them pecking each other to death, and the male babies are usually gassed or ground alive.
caged:

"Free range":

But I personally don't see anything wrong with eating eggs from your own hens if they're treated well. The problem isn't as much what people eat, its the cruelty involved. Not hating on you btw, just explaining why they might have a problem with the dairy/chicken bit. good on you for being mindful and trying to avoid contributing to cruelty srs. I did similar before I became fully vegan tbh

It's not a 'call out'. i'm simply contradicting your post. You say it happen more often in foreign countries, i'm saying it happens in everywhere to a high degree. Why split hairs? It's all the same chit. For the record, don;t make stupid comments if you don't want to get called out for them.
I didn't mean it as an absolute statement, did I? I didn't anticipate my comment would be so thoroughly scrutinized by the misc police. I did, however, insinuate thatmore often that notthis sort of animal cruelty takes place either in foreign countries with much lower standards of living and/or by foreign employees who come from countries with much lower standards of living. I stand by that fact.
Where did i assert that you meant it as an absolute statement? And nope, you stand by an opinion. You're entitled to your own opinions, not your own facts. Please don't assert them as such. 'More often than not' based on what? Where are the studies? And these foreign employees you speak of, in American slaughter houses for example, are expected to abide by American guidelines, such as the Humane Slaughter Act in the U.S in particular, which incidentally only applies to cattle, pigs, and sheep, but exclude poultry, fish, rabbits or other animals slaughtered for food. Why not all? If you want higher standards for employees, companies should set their own higher standards. Which of course they couldn't care less about. Companies which continuously disregard the safety of the animals and employees, despite having supposedly higher standards in place btw.Why call me out anyway? I said I don't consume anything but chicken and fish. Yes, I realize that chicken can, and often are, mistreated as well. I've seen videos of the egg industry as well, so don't bother me with those. For one, chicken and fish are not as sentient an animal as cows, sheep, goats and pigs. They just don't have that sort of awareness. Second, as I've said in many of these threads, I buy the majority of my meat from local farms where I can literally see the free range chicken...
Then you get defensive for no reason lmao. The fact that 'chicken and fish are not as sentient an animal as cows, sheep, goats and pigs' is not a valid justification for the disproportionate treatment they receive in factory farming. I know you'd like to believe it is, but it's not. Again, keep coping. Also, what Aggressive posted ^^
Get off your 'free range' high horse bull chit.

A lot of the fukers live in the fields by my house for most of the year (those that are not for dairy). Only thing I don't really know about is how they die.. but at least their standard of living is good.

The difference is a cat has to eat meat or die. It's an obligate carnivore (fuk vegans who try to veganise their cats), and that mouse, even if eaten alive for 15 minutes before it dies, is still the life the animals in factory farms would beg for compared to what they actually go through, breh.

Then they have their offspring snatched away from them where it will lie locked in a wooden box in darkness for veal. Imagine the grief and heartbreak a mother goes through losing a child... well, that's cows in the dairy industry. Yet instead of time to grieve, they're stood on concrete for 14-18 hours a day, with a metal apparatus constantly sucking at their udders until their udders turn blackened and swollen, and so the milk has to have hormones pumped into it to clear infections that might pass onto humans. There is no moral quandary, you fat fukkin moron.
Plants have no central nervous system. They react entirely autonomously to stimuli on a chemical level. They're not aware of any pain, emotion or their existence on a conscious level.
What's more, let's just play into your childish fantasy that plants feel pain, it would still make sense to have a vegan world, considering far more plants die as a result of animal agriculture, considering we need to feed 50+ billion a year, than would under an entirely vegan 7.5 billion population.
So yeah, vegan world = fewer plant deaths and of course far, far fewer animal deaths.

man I thought that would be one of the hardest things to cut out too, but almond milk on my cereal is hnnnnnngggggg, and alpro original soy milk for my tea / coffee tastes better than milk ever did imo^Yeah man, it's sad. An ongoing animal holocaust that many people don't give a fuk about. I've been on and off a vegan diet, can cut out meat easy but eliminating dairy completely is quite tough
We have enslaved the rest of the animal creation, and have treated our distant cousins in fur and feathers so badly that beyond doubt, if they were able to formulate a religion, they would depict the Devil in human form.

Chocolate flavour tastes great. Its on offer at the moment 12 per bagYeah, I need to try harder. I don't really drink milk or anything, it just seems that dairy is in a lot of products.

Lmao @ praying before torturing, dragging, abusing, kicking and chopping an animal in a frenzy. As if praying ever did anything for anyone, or any animal. Idiot.
