Skin care pro here, AMA ( can help anyone) (Pics) srs thread
EDIT: My guide I don't know if people are taking this thread the wrong way, but this thread is the ultimate aesthetic skin guide and I made this for people who want to achieve maximum skin aesthetics on par with Hollywood ageing (Tom Cruise, Dylan McDermott, Brad pitt, Rob Lowe) I will even say my guide will make you look better than these celebs once you're their age, because I highly doubt many of them even care about doing this type of routine.

Routine:
- Cleanse skin with Rx Options Prescription cleanser
- 2 shakes Paula's Choice BHA, 2 spritz Paula's Choice AHA Daily
- Clinique Moisture surge after chemical exfoliation
- 20 % Mandelic peel every two weeks
- 40% Mandelic peel every month
- Epidiou gel incase of emergency cyst
- 20% BHA liquid incase of emergency pimple/zit
- Thayers Toner after intensive sweaty sports
- Derma roll every month
- Vitamin C every month after derma roll
- BB cream use whenever I want to go full aesthetic mode when going out
Ignore flamboyant pic lol, its old and I can't bother taking new ones.

How do you get rid of clogged pores? I have like extremely small, flesh-colored bumps near my nose area, which I am pretty sure are just clogged pores. I'm just a gentle cleanser and non-comodegenic moisturizer and BHA, but I feel like I cant get rid of them.

I just use some random cheap moisturizer twice a day and my skin is clear and nice. I used to have some skin problems but I used accutane and since then I haven't even had one pimple.

OP, do you see any actual value in the derma roller? How did you settle on the once a month routine?
Aware me more on the mandelic acid peels - are you saying you do 3 peels per month? (2 at 20% and 1 at 40%)?
What made you choose mandelic rather than lactic or glycolic?
Can't help but notice you didn't include a sunscreen on your list. I know that was prolly inadvertent, but you don't want to make someone think they can get away without using one if they're on dat AHA/BHA time

Paula's choice is great as I've heard.
1) Where tf is your aztec clay mask brah
2) Give me your product recommendations. I use Jack black's moisturizer and daily facial cleaner + Tretinoin one night and the other night BP/SA continuously and still get acne for the past year as well as HP because of acne. I want that radiant glow brah
3) How do you use Paula's choice BHA/AHA together? I'm probably going to buy both.
4) What size needle do you use for your dermaroll?

Nice OP. But you don't have to worry about skin problems too much until you get older but good habits are good to keep.
Using this now

I could use something to prevent ingrown hair and to keep the skin and hair on my face supple tbh. What I'm using is effective but still would like other suggestions.

--Rapidly exfoliates dead skin cells and surface debris from the skin.
--Mandelic acid has antimicrobial/antibacterial properties, making it an excellent choice for all types of acne, including cystic acne.
--Loosens blackheads for easy extraction.
--Cleans and refines pores.
--Refines the tone and texture of the skin, brightens.
--Mandelic acid is excellent for clients with darker skin tones. It does not cause the unwanted, lighter skin tone changes that you might experience with other AHA's.
--Mandelic acid inhibits the growth of melanin, the cause of brown patches, freckles, uneven skin tone and other sun-related skin care issues.
--Mandelic acid, with continued use, can help repair sun damaged skin.
--Mandelic acid reduces lines and wrinkles without the irritation of other AHA's.
--Mandelic is typically an excellent exfoliator for clients suffering from Rosacea.
I notice difference after I use it instantly srs
Second question, lactic is fine but I prefer mandelic. Glycolic is harsh so your skin needs to preped before jumping in. I might get it soon Mandelic is great beginner peel. I recommend it once a month if you're a beginner to chemical exfoliation though.
And I use sunscreen, just not pictured. I use the La roche Posay liquid one.

2) Clinique moisture surge, BHA liquid from Paulas choice & AHA 8% gel. These are all you need for now. Then you can move up after few months to peels.
3) I just put them together in my hand and rub it on my face. wait 20 mins then apply moisturizer
4) 1 mm, I just started on the derma roll though

I got acne scars on my one cheek. Can't tell in photos or from a distance but if I'm face to face with someone, you can see the divets on my face. My dermatologist said they weren't bad enough for a dermabrasion so I've been getting microdermabrasions done and it has gotten a ton worse.
From like a little one to both cheeks covered. And it was supposed to make it better.
I don't know, I know it isn't a huge deal but I rather not have them. And I'm not really into waiting months to get another appointment with the derm to ask, and then get billed a ton.
