The bigger fairytale is how every guy thinks he's going to be super aesthetic ceo demigod in his 30s. It's great to be ambitious and to work towards realistic goals but things never change THAT much ever. People can improve their situation slightly over years and years with a lot of work and with luck on their side. It's a bad idea to set oneself up with such high expectations, only to fail, and then be depressed later.

Sounds like you're blowing it out of proportion. Even certified autists are aware the body gradually deteriorates with time. With aging comes wisdom in addition to appreciating things more around you and taking care of yourself more. Little things have more meaning and you cherish life more in contrast to your younger days. I at least pray that's what everyone is implying when people speak about the upsides of aging. From a physical aspect, it doesn't have to be negative. from a biological standpoint you're always going downhill but precautionary measures can put the physical degradation at a manageable rate

In contrast a typical guy who's 35 and average looking with an average job is just going to be one of 200 people in some 30+ woman's online dating inbox.
