We constantly reference events from that campaign, even today.I am starting to think we need to fire up an online campaign....
Same thing in real life, I DM'd a game from Level 1 all the way up to 17 and our group still references stuff from that campaign too. That's the fun of D&D man, great memories and awesome adventures.
DM (me). "The tower is on fire."
Rogue: "I run for the stairs and leave."
Fighter: "I run for the stairs and leave."
Cleric: "I run for the stairs and leave."
Mage: "I'm gonna jump out of the tower window, and use this rope to swing down..." (the whole group facepalms).
DM (me): "Roll a Dex check."
Mage: <rolls a 1>
Mage went the rest of the campaign on a prosthetic leg. Just LoL

Not much now (apart from Miscing), but between 98 and about 06 I was heavily into online gaming - mainly the TFC clan scene, but also CS. I was in a couple of the best TFC teams in Europe and playing for England (lol, such as it was), even went to a LAN tournament and stuff. Hung out on IRC, lead clans, admin'd servers and was very active on various forums. Even wrote my very own column for a league website
(actually I put that in my CV, I think it helped me get jobs).
That was when it was a lot more niche than it is now. Not many of my mates knew how much I was into it.

im a professional wrestler

theres too much negative stigma that comes with it, but you have to an athlete if you want to be good and not completely gas out in 2 minutes. wayyyy tougher than it looks. Most dont really appreciate it so i just keep it to myself.

Offer to buy up their collections for no more than 150-200 depending on the lot size. This happens a ton at garage sales, on ******** selling groups or in classifieds. People just needing quick cash and couldn't be bothered to find values on things. Then you go through and hope you hit gold. Of many collections me and a buddy have gotten over the last few years there were some duds that we came out even on but there were more gold mines cause there are sets and cards in those sets that are money (I'm talking like 500-2500 for a single card). You need to be familiar with the sets and high money stuff but it comes quick.Tips srs.
Once you have your collections sorted through and the money stuff pulled out you can list on tcgplayer or there are a handful of high end MTG ******** groups that I see huge money flying around every day. You can have it bought and flipped in a week with maybe 4-5 hours invested if you are taking your time.
The main other way is treating the cards more like stocks. So you could pick up known money cards in the hopes that demand rises and you make a few bucks or you can do what would be similar to penny stocks and buy up something that is low value now in hopes that it spikes in demand soon or in the future. Unlike stocks though there is absolutely no regulation on the market so for example there is a card called Moat that averaged for awhile around $200-300. Early this week a few guys went online and bought every copy that was available anywhere. As a result the price is now ~$700+ at the minimum and people are frantically trying to buy them before they go up more. The market can be worked and manipulated at your will if you have some money to blow and a know how of the game.

I play a computer game called Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void. In fact I've never really gotten into any other game even since I was a kid. But I've played the Starcraft series for about 15 years now.
I woke up this morning still breathing. Might as well take advantage of it.
Working every day to be just a little stronger, healthier, or smarter than yesterday.

really into disc golf
idk how nerdy it is but it definitely has a stoner stigma attached to it, luckily there's a decent scene here in MO with a lot of courses around, but I've gotten pretty into it the last few years, have my own basket/target at home that I can practice putting in and everything

I collect original theatrical release posters for films. Some of the cooler and rare ones I have are Training Day, Se7en, Last of The Mohicans, a signed by James Cameron Avatar poster, Casino, Collateral, Traffic, Man on fire, American Gangster, Blade Runner, a rare heath ledger Joker Dark Knight poster. Some of the posters get super expensive if you weren't able to obtain one when the film originally hit theaters ex: Star Wars, Jaws, etc.
