Whew, doc said the gum bleeding is probably just from brushing too hard with a hard bristle brush. Told me to switch to soft bristle only. I do have a cavity though. I expected more than one with as long as it's been since I went to the dentist.

Had a phone interview with the recruiter of the company that contacted me yesterday. They talked like they wouldn't have any trouble beating my current salary and want me to send my resume in to schedule another interview with the IT manager. Interested to see how this plays out now.

http://www.denverpost.com/2016/06/21...ease-colorado/

The number of people who have applied to carry a concealed weapon in Colorado this year has almost doubled compared to last year.

Between January and May the number of applications recorded across the state was 31,901, up from 16,574 that had been submitted at the same time last year, according to statewide numbers from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

Certified trainers who teach classes required to get a permit say people flocking to the classes are often motivated by mass shootings. Politicians say politics and the fear that stricter gun control laws may eventually prohibit gun ownership also play a role.

“Anytime the Democrats like Obama, or Hillary Clinton now, start talking about guns, people get worried that their Second Amendment rights might be infringed,” said Sen. John Cooke, R-Greeley. “They’re doing this to beat the rush.”

Another really good flick is "Clash of the Titans" . . . the one from 1981 with Laurence Olivier. Good action to stop the dreaded Kraken from being released.

Now that I think about it, heist movies are one of my favorite genres. What are the best heist movies ever made? Could be banks, jewels, casino, anything where you have a rag-tag team of criminals get together and pull off a caper. The movie could focus on the mistrust among the criminals, double-cross, or the cat and mouse between cops and robbers. I am partial to the unexpected double-cross or eagle scout cop that turns out to be dirty.

I'd say:

1. Inside Man
2. Heat
3. Sexy Beast
4. Usual Suspects
5. Ocean's Eleven (original, no remakes)
6. Italian Job (original)
7. A Fish Called Wanda
8. Snatch/Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
9. 3,000 Miles to Graceland
10. Reservoir Dogs
11. Point Break
12. Mission Impossible
13. Thomas Crown Affair (remake)
14. Entrapment
15. Wild Things
16. Jackie Brown
17. Get Carter (remake or original)
18. Get Shorty

Couple of those are more double-cross than heist. No particular order.

Sounds like my grandma was just about the victim of a home invasion this morning. She was woken up at 0350 by the doorbell, her dog went ape shiit. Before she got to the door, the bell was rung again. She opened the front door and spoke to a 20ish year old woman through the glass storm door which was still closed. The woman was acting very nervous, asking to come in and use her phone because of car troubles, however there weren't any signs of a car nearby. No car on her street nor driveway. She eventually fukked off after my grandma told her no. She told my pops about this a few minutes ago, then proceeded to tell him about how worried she had been all day because what if she really did need help. There's no doubt in my mind there was atleast one other person standing to the side of the door. Particularly with my generation, you don't have to have a car, a job, etc but you WILL have a phone. Shiit just screams sketchy.

For real. She opened the front door and spoke to the woman through a locked glass storm door, but that wouldn't stop a fukking brick or hammer or something. Good god. My dad asked why she didn't call the police and she said "well I didn't want to bother them.." Brb it's their fukking job to investigate sketchy shiit, and if the girl was telling the truth then I'm sure she'd be more than happy to see a squad car roll up to help out.

My brother is a beta addict cuck, my sister is into "bad" dudes, my grandma is naive as fuk, I'm 18 so that's a given. It seems like my mom, dad, and myself are the only ones in the family that aren't tards.

So, the FNS40 is a very nice pistol. PSA still has them on sale for $320 BTW, although they don't come with night sights (very happy I jumped on that w/night sights deal ASAP!)

I shot it for the first time tonight, 100 rounds total, split Federal 180gr Al case and Speer 180gr Gold Dot.

The Test (10 rounds, 10 yards, from low ready, 10 seconds max, goal is all 10 rounds in the black but you can score by the rings too, B8 target)

Federal Al case 180gr TMJ, 6.23 seconds, score 97/100 (almost clean, one was not in the black). (I also had a 7.23 94/100 with Gold Dots)

Glock 26 with Federal HST 147gr, same test, 6.52 seconds 96/100, clean

I mostly shoot pistol, indoors, static range (shooter/target stationary), generally 200-250 rounds per session, extreme spread 100-300

Totally depends on what I'm training for that day.

Pistol days always seem to burn through a ton of rounds. Rifle days aren't quite as bad.

50-100 pistol isn't much, but it depends on what you do. One run of the Dot Torture is 50 rounds right there (and usually humbling).
