In my years, as being both very skinny and a weight lifter, here are my thoughts from dating.
1. When I was skinny, I was pulling some tail I never thought I should have been. I think I was fairly decent looking, but I had confidence and the more time I spent around a woman, the more she found me attractive.
2. As a weight lifter, you will have that initial attraction from women, however, now you have to also prove to her you're not cocky or a douchebag.
3. Women are less intimidated by men that are not muscular, so they are more likely to pursue you. It takes a woman that doesn't have self esteem issues, or is also in to fitness, to be more likely to approach you
4. I was only a weight lifter for a few years before getting married, but it seems like I had an easier time getting dates when I was skinny. That said, my current wife told me if I would have been 150lbs when we met, she would not have been as attracted to me. She also told me if I was a manlet, she would not have given me the time of day. Ouch

Saying it means "nothing" to girls is far from true. Saying it is a MUST have to get girls is also far from true.
Just like when men look at a woman with a pretty face but poor physique, she certainly isn't as appealing as a woman with a pretty face and nice physique. Without the nice body there can't be an overall package.
Henry Cavill or Chris Hemsorth or Channing Tatum without a good physique would make them not nearly as appealing to a women. Don't fool yourself.

My guess is that only FAs claim that physique means nothing. Youd be surprised what a lean physique with a well developed chest and broad ripped shoulders can do for a girl. Another one of these dumb threads. It has been proven over and over again that yes, women do prefer men who have a good physique. It shows self-respect, dedication, discipline and what matter to them on a biological instinct level, strength and fitness which is good for her offspring. Not to mention the sex will be better. The ones fawning over these skinny androgynous looking boys are females with low self-esteem who cannot compete and will feel out of her league.

From the perspective of an old, married dude, the wife and I have always enjoyed what I think is a better than average sex life. When I started lifting and dropping weight in my early 40's though, the wife really amped up her desire for me.
