Thoughts? I've also looked at the SOG Slimjim, Kershaw Brawler, Cold Steel Micro Recon 1, and the Kerahaw Cryo II. I like the Browning because of the serrations and glass breaker.

Has Kikn's idol gotten his carry permit back yet?

I know it was taken when he made a video saying he was going to shoot people.

Pretty sure he got it back a long time ago.

Also pretty sure his video was about the real intent of the Second Amendment and how if things go far enough shooting people is precisely what needs to happen...at the time I was surprised at how many supposedly prop Liberty or pro 2A people found that idea preposterous

Why do you want the serrations? I don't do much with pocket knives, but the serrations don't seem to be of much use. They are more work to sharpen and not very good at cleanly slicing. Sure they cut rope or twine well or whatever like that, but...meh give me a FFG straight edge

Im not looking for a sweet tier 1 operator knife that can do anything and everything including summoning an ounce of an Asian virgin's breast milk, but it'd just be something to have and keep on me. I'd like to keep the budget up to $30 or so. I'm perfectly content with a basic "beginner" knife. I can sharpen the blade myself too, yes.

Ive never owned a knife before either, I guess it's just one of things to have around just in case. The serrations aren't that big of a deal, they'd just be nice to have. It doesn't make or break the purchase for me if the knife has or doesn't have serrations. Like you said, just for cutting shiit like that.

IMO, a good multi-tool is of more use than just a knife. I carry a Leatherman Wave as part of my EDC.

Tyler, seat belt cutters and glass breakers seem unnecessary and gimmicky. The delica 4 is a very popular knife for the price range it is in

Been getting a lot of random gunsmithing work lately.

This morning someone brought a High Standard Victor .22lr in after he disassembled and reassembled it. Complained the hammer stayed cocked. Upon inspection, the sear spring wasn't re installed properly. Popped it into place - problem solved.
Then someone brought a Springfield 1911 in that they wanted us to fit a bushing comp in. Fit it to the slide - all good. Went to rack it, barrel-to-comp ID fit too tight. Had to remove about .002" from the ID of the comp and refinished it in phosphate. Smooth as can be now.

These small misc jobs are fun and pass the time for sure.

Am I supposed to be offended? I've never even met the guy, just trained with his company.

That being said, if you're taking machine gun fire and choose to use a vehicle as "cover" when there's better options available....
