My granddad says young guys are just making excuses for why women don't date them

So I was talking to my grandad yersterday who is in his 70's and asked him about dating girls and he said back in his day, he used to get smoking hot girls all the time and all he needed was a running car and just enough money for dinner and a movie or take her dancing. His friend knocked on the door and sat down to listen in what he was saying. They both began reminiscing about all of the girls they would pick up and how easy it was. Grandadd said his job was low paying, but as long as you had a decent running car, it was easy to get dates and his friend was nodding his head agreeing. My grandad isn't even tall. He's average height even though he's lost a couple of inches from aging.

I told him these days it's a lot harder as girls are looking for a lot more than just a running car and they both busted out laughing with grandad saying young men these days are just making up excuses and aren't doing enough. He said if he was a young man right now, he could go out and pick up girls with no problem.

Is what they say true? Can any older dudes shed any light on this?

your grandpa experienced dating/relationships in the 60s and 70s. The boyo might as well have been from a completely different universe. Those times were COMPLETELY different from modern day dating/relationships.

OP can you get your grandpa to explain what kind of 'game' he had in the past? I do think he may be right about being able to land girls if he was a young guy now, because he'd have a different kind of charisma/personality than most 20s guys nowadays. Also, what's your grandpa's personality like?

That is what I was trying to tell him that girls are different today, but he said there was no denying that if he were a younger man, he'd be able to pull todays women just as easily as the women back then. his personality is pretty solid. He was in the military for a long time, so he's a disciplined guy.

He said that a mans looks didn't matter much to women back then and he doubts if a mans looks matter these days. He said women just want a strong man that is confident in himself.

Be yourself, it will just happen, one day a girl will like you as much as you like her, etc. The father is often silent while the mother poisons her son with garbage advice. The reason is because our fathers didn’t have to deal with the types of women that we have to deal with. Dating was simple and easy, and being a good man with a stable job was more than enough. They didn’t have to run ‘game’, become dancing monkeys, be a DJ with six pack abs, take a few cycles of steroids or be a member of a gang. They didn’t have to negotiate through a minefield just to meet a woman, they didn’t have to constantly placate an ‘empowered’ and delusional woman.

There wasn’t scores of fat and ugly women that skewed the odds. Nowadays, a plain non-fat looking girl is a prize of great value with scores of men trying to get her. The average man looks even better than the average man back in your father’s day, due to how many young men now hit the gym, but the average woman has absolutely plummeted. Plain and thin was average back then. Slightly fat is now average. With a customary whorish tattoo.

Your father got to date virgins or girls with low counts. Men nowadays get to date women have been ****ed by 20+ men, who have a couple of **** buddies on call at any time.

Your father got to actually date. He asked a girl out and they actually went on a date. You have to be an entertainer, a dancing monkey, and try to **** her that same night, otherwise you lose out to the men who do manage to do so. She has so many options she’s not going to waste time going on a date with a man she barely knows.

Good question. I haven't asked her. Looking at her pictures from when she was in her early 20's, she was a stunner. Legit 8/10 and grandad had his arm wrapped around her and he was average in looks and average in height. So I am baffled at how easy it was for dudes back then.

Even his friend who stopped by is a legit manlet (5'5 or so) and even he had a wife and her pictures when she was younger weren't bad. She was attractive.

Nope. Media and technology changed EVERYTHING. Your grandpa was alive pre media except for radio and chit. The tides changed with TV, but mostly did a complete turnaround after the internet.

A running car and pocket change wont get you "smoking hot" girls. A good face would though - maybe your grandpa was aesthetic with 9/10 facials, who knows

I made this post before for someone about a year ago.
prior to 1985(internet, cell phones, instant slooting from social media validation) females had to settle quick before they lost their glow. Most people married between 18-25. Today its 25-35. Jobs today that pay $7 an hour could support you, today we have higher inflation and taxes. 100 million people or 1/3rd of Americans are on welfare (fuk you low lifes sucking off us working class)


Today what holds men back is:
>80/20rule
>social media
>sloots standards
>free welfare, higher taxes where all my money goes
>any female who lifts is a Instagram star just by uploading photos who deserves a chad CEO 10k a day for working out.
