Holy fk. I want to be you when I am your age. **** you probably make me look like a baby.

Lol my dad says the same thing. "Son, when you get to be my age it's a little different. The joints start squeakin and your bench press will weaken." That was his newest one.

Yeah, ill miss the golden age of the misc. If only more miscers actually lifted, it would cut down on all the self hating BS that perpetuates too many threads these days. But we definitely look after our own here, i have gotten some great life advice from here too.

Sick of all the facial aesthetics and other whiny garbage, female misc chat thread, etc.

I need to see that there are enough guys in here that still lift and are somewhat alpha

I have been lifting for just over 4 months. I am going as hard as I can and try to never waste a day. Made some gains that I am super excited about, but when I come here it is certainly a dose of reality. I really am mirin some of you guys and the work you have put in. In the first 3 months I went from 115lb max bench (weak man) to 225lb max bench that went up surprisingly easily. Probably could have got 230/235 but I stopped there because I was elated with two plates. I started out repping 103lbs and now I'm repping 179lbs x 7. I hope to bench 285lb x 1 by September 1st. Lofty goals, maybe.

OHP press in 4 months has gone from 63 x 10 lbs (weak man) to 139 lbs x 7.

I workout at home with some seriously cheap equipment. My bench was 69 dollars and I really need a new one. Nothing but two dumb bell and a barbell.

Pictures are weak still and ashamed.

started a year ago at 153, at 178 now. should be 185 by summers end. I also rock climb and do some boxing, so anything over 185 would just not work
