OP,
I have long standing issues with ingrown hairs and folliculitis on my scalp and face. I'm balding but can't shave my head due to the outbreaks I get and it's really ruining my enjoyment.
Pls respawn.

I used to be extremely acne prone. Tried tons of products for years. One day I said fk it all and just went with soap and water once a day, I also stopped hyper focusing on my face to much. After a few weeks my face seemed to heal itself. Fast forward few years later, I am basically acne free, just few blackheads that would pop up here and there.

Mix Indian healing clay with Extra Virgin Apple cidar. Put it on your face like a clay. This will dry and pull your skin together. Will get rid of blackheads and anything else on your face. This will also leave your skin very dry so only do it a few times a month. Several times a week, use EV Coconut oil to moisturizer your face every night. This will kill all germs on your face and leaving it with a glow look.

I have an extremely oily nose. I usually have to blot it with tissue every few hours or It ends up very shiny.. When I wake up in the morning it's extreme. I think I actually got this from overusing harsh facial cleansers in my youth without moisturizers, I remember after showering my skin would be flaky.
Right now what I do : Morning and Night I use a gentle face cleanser without soap, it's has green tea extract and **** it's really gentle. Then I use a moisturizer day and night also.
I wish I could find something to stop having such an oily nose.

I'd just recommend getting the BHA/AHA and moisturizer for now.
This is what I use for exfoliation:

http://www.paulaschoice.com/shop/ski...-Gel-Exfoliant
If you use this link, you get $10-15 off

Also use coupon code: BHA16
Get any moisturizer to use after you exfoliate.

I got one from CeraVe also but I don't like it as much because it's white and chalky. You have to rub it in unlike the Neutrogena stick.
It's so nice not having to deal with a messy lotion.

Wait 20 mins and then moisturize.
For body acne I'd recommend having a good loofah brah.

Also get nizoral shampoo from any drugstore/chemist (no prescription needed) and rub it over your acne affected body areas and let it settle in for 2-3 mins and wash it off.

As for the white heads,
you need to chemically exfoliate regularly, it's what prevents the sebum from filling up with gunk.

the skin is an organ. its health is manifested through diet. eat clean & balanced, get some sun, coconut oil on the reg. lol @ wasting money on skin products.
white heads and dry flakey skin = yang disease. less meat/spices and more cooling foods like vegetables and fruit. drink warm honey lemon water in the morning. peppermint tea is good too

I'm guessing you have an MD in dermatology to backup your beyond stupid claims?
Also telling people to get some sun contradicts your whole advice, some sun here and there is fine but sun ages you and causes cancer.
Do you ever think how different our world is right now? having a good diet and getting some sun isn't enough anymore. This is because of the genetically modified foods we eat, the air filled with chemicals we breath, and other factors
EDIT: just googled yang disease, lmao you on that Chinese herbal medicine time? This disease isn't even recognized by any medical association other than some Chinese farmers.

It's the touch of concealer that does the trick. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed if you have dark circles under your eyes!

Guys, OP is spitting some mad truth. Even if he's figured out a sly way to get referral codes from Paula's Choice
The sunscreen he recommended (Biore UV Aqua) is considered the best in the world. If you ever find yourself breaking out from using a certain sunscreen, then its worth it to aware yourself on the difference between physical & chemical sunscreen. I'm trying to stick to physical sunscreen (meaning it uses zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, and stays above the skin, so no clogged pores or chemical interactions that can lead to breakouts). The only problem is ALL zinc oxides give a "white cast" where you'll look like a corpse/ghost - so I'm now looking at some tinted physical ones.
This is a really good/easy to understand read that will aware you on the realities of sun protection, which is100% NECESSARYif you are using any bha/aha exfolient (or retinoid).
https://vanityrex.com/everything-you...out-sunscreen/
I've had good results with under-eye dark circles/bags using one of those japanese hyalauronic lotions & vitamin c serum. (if you're going to use vit c serum, aware yourself on ph-sequencing: least acidic goes before most acidic, and don't use retinoids and aha/bha's at the same time (chemical exfolients are an acid bomb, lowering your skins ph to like 3. Retinol creams and whatnot are rendered ineffective at those pH's))
For the hyalauronic acid lotion/toner - my success came from using the Chizu Saeki method. Literally every woman in Japan and South Korea use this method, as well as some guys. You're basically using reverse osmosis to shove the acid into your skin, making it more plump, glowy and dewey. Using this method I've actually gotten compliments on how young I've been looking lately. And I've never been complimented on my skin ever before.
This whole technique seems entirely ludicrous, but I have gotten rid of a few wrinkles using this method
If you couldn't understand her, there's some american youtubers that repeat it nearly verbatim
Edit: If you wanna go even further down this rabbit-hole, the skincareaddiction & asianbeauty subreddits have some good "intro" articles

Incidentally, the vit A from retinol serums stays in your skin for a few days, so I guess you could alternate in the evenings (one night for exfolients and one night for retinol)

Great thread. I can also recommend the DERMAPEN instead of derma rolling. Less down time and it's more accurate.
Very similar to my routine except I have never heard of the mandelic peel. Would it be better to do this in a salon or can I do it myself?
Just LOL @ all the haters in this thread. They are OK taking steroids, counting every macro, but taking care of your skin (which actually matters more than being jacked) is gay and wrong? Stupid.

I consistently get acne on the side of my head right to the next of my sideburns right below my hairline. Think of directly to the left and to the right of your eyes. Ive tried cream, but the acne keeps consisntely coming back.
Tips?
