Most of my opinions would piss a lot of people off, but I think the one that would piss the largest group off is that I'm not against men hitting women.

I know her worth more than some random joe.
From those sentences alone I know I would save your life over my doges if it came down to it. You have a family who will miss you, and are likely dependent on you in some way or another. My family and I love, and would miss our doge, but it is nothing in comparison to the pain it would cause your family if you disappeared.
If you can't logically and emotionally determine this in your head, and come to a rational decision in regards to other individuals.. you may very well have something a miss.
I love my doge, and she is a great companion, but a line has to be drawn somewhere.
I genuinely think a lot of dog/pet owners who place too much value on their pets are mentally ill. <-- There you go. I guess that is my controversial opinion. Expecting to see my CPs full of red, but i'll speak my mind. Fuk you all.

And lets be honest, this whole situation is completely hypothetical, how many cases in human history were there where a person is stuck with a dilemma, do I go left and save my dog or right and help this random person I've never met. Never gonna happen, its just as dumb of a question as "would you press this button A) instantly get 100million dollars but B) random 1000 people in the world would die". Guess how many people ITT would gladly confirm to be spamming the **** out of that button.
The cost of human life is superficial, and it matters to nobody but the person itself and those around him/close to him. If i disappeared tomorrow, you wouldn't give a chit. Nobody besides my friends/family would. Unless you put someone on the spot and ask him "would you feel bad if this unknown person died/disappeared" and most people would lie and pretend like they would, but in reality they would forget about it in the next 24 hours.
Thats my controversial contribution to this thread.

you're creating a situation in your mind where you have the time to logically sit down and reflect. You are also not assuming the possibility of being emotionally involved in said situation. What if said scenario had to be decided within 5 seconds? Your dog is about to die, 5 seconds, what do you do? I seriously doubt logic would kick in first.Told you, that question is subjective to each person's interpretation and its silly.

I would like to be naive and carry on thinking that people wouldn't press that button. I like to try and think the best in people, even if my faith in humanity is misplaced.

well my top 2 are
A) Those who have illnesses that has low survival rate, and/or causes the person to be weak as ****,(immobility, confusion, coma) should be killed off and those that are odler than 70 should also be killed off as their life is nothing but ****, brb can't **** on my own, brb be a burden, brb multiple medical problems at once
2) War is neccessary
I do admit though that I wouldn't want to be caught in one in my lifespan

1. Temporarily sterilization when you acquire a drivers license - which you can revert when you've proven that you're economically well off enough to have children.
2. Ban guns, seriously. I've yet to hear a legit argument to prove otherwise. So many pro-gun nut huggers that don't even apply logic correctly.
3. If you choose to be a politician, you cannot do so without a STEM background. The lack of scientific logic (in other words, 'ignorance') is astounding in the political theater. Please, anyone with an engineering degree - run for president: you'll be more qualified than any of the nut jobs currently running (Trump or Clinton).

If an immigrant commits a crime, he and his family should be deported.
Migrants that claim they are homosexual tot get asylum should be sterilized as gays don't reproduce anyway
Youth culture should not be the dominant culture. Pop music shouldn't be as important as it is today, corporal punishments should be reintroduced in education, ...
Most people don't know what's best for them, so countries should be led by enlightened despotes or a couple technocrats

There is very little I could do to prevent "hunger, diseases, wars, human trafficking". However, if I had the direct opportunity to save someones life I would most probably take it.. even if it means RIP pupper.

Most controversial but widely believed,is my belief that the West shouldn't have to accept the misery of the world.
This flawed Christian argument basically can lead to the West collapsing.
Instead, saving the West will require some tears to be shed and hearts to be hardened regarding which people to allow in the West.

I'm a pretty serious libertarian so I have a few beliefs most don't agree with. I believe prostitution and all drugs should be completely legal. I believe in eliminating speed limits except in residential areas. I think we should completely eliminate all federal social welfare programs including Medicaid, Medicare and social security. I believe in almost completely open borders, which I don't think would be an issue if you ended the drug war, eliminated entitlements and the minimum wage and enacted the FairTax. I also believe regular civilians should have legal access to any weapon the military has, including nukes.
