Yea, and it's even more than that. People keep others around because it makes them feel good for a bit. When they no longer need you for their own ego, they stop associating with you.

Once an emotional/physical/financial need of their is met, they move on.

Again, I yearn for someone to pick up the phone and call me to see if I even exist without asking for me to do something for them.

Family and friends do this too.

Anxiety. I wish i was like everyone else and had no fears, worries of anything. It's made me have sleepless nights, missed opportunities, and i can't get rid of it.

Who's definition of that word is the right one?

Stop being anxious, go out and conquer each day. There is NO other way except going forward.

One thing that may help is stop using other people's definitions to live ur life. All of them haven't lived your life, had your experiences or think like you.

Meditation and knowing yourself will help.

*Living in a city I don't really want to be in (Moved from Oz to Nz with parents when I was 18, ignore misc name lmao)

*Realised halfway through my uni course I want to change subject, was doing Info tech for the $$$ prospects but wasn't really for me. So now Im looking at an extra year of uni, plus just time and $$$ wasted on half an IT degree lol

*Little friends apart from a few I've met at uni who don't really like doing much, hoping I'll be able to meet some more since the new course should have more students and probably more outgoing ones compared to IT.

Kind of just a combination of those three, they're all semi related anyway

you are doing it wrong if you think money is the key to happiness.

The key to happiness is to do what you want and makes you happy....disregard everyone else's opinion about what choices you make if it makes you unhappy and to buy a puppy.

Not having moved out of home yet. I'm 22 and still live at home. Other than that I have pretty fulfilling hobbies, I just find that my emotions peak and drop over the course of weeks sometimes months. Sometimes I get frustrated doing the same thing at work over and over again and feeling under appreciated/taken advantage of. Other times I feel like I don't put enough effort into my hobbies to get to the level of skill which I want. Other times like I said I get upset that I'm still living at home/not financially independent.

A majority of the time though I'm pretty much indifferent to everything. Just try to get through work weeks as painlessly as possible then put almost all of my effort into my hobbies.

I'm 22 and have my first girlfriend ever, it's a learning experience that I am greatly thankful of, for better or worse. For a long time I was quite sad deep down about having been a virgin up until I turned 21/never had a GF. I'm a pretty decent looking guy too that lifts. I couldn't figure it out. After experiencing sex I could care less about that chit now.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

I am in a dilemma. Loneliness is a big reason for my unhappiness but sometimes I do like being alone beacuse I can be myself and not have to worry about things like embarassing family members. On the other hand I don't want to be alone. I don't know if it's being loney that makes me unhappy, or if it's socializing with people that makes me unhappy.

The one upside of school is that it ends in two years. If I had to do the FA school grind every day for the rest of my life, I'd think about ending it.
wow. it's comforting knowing im not the only one. I hate school. I hate the concept of it. I hate knowing that I'll be expected to get an internship next year and slowly transition into a 'normal life'. I don't want that. Yet my back is against a moving wall that's pushing me towards that life.
The thought of a 9-5 scares me to death, srs.

other things
-gynecomastia. tried fixing it but looks like surgery is the only option
-virgin. haven't talked to a chick in a long ass time. mainly because i have phimosis and can't have sex yet. the pain on the inside when I see a girl i'd like to approach is...hard to explain
-no friends. really because of the point above. its like why go out and socialize when I know at the end of the night i'll be in my room alone?
-scrambling to make an income in some other way than working for someone else. parents think im a bum. family/relatives ask 'So are you working?' I always say "no I'm doing some internet stuff..." but i can tell they think i'm just lazy. It's quite something really; no one believes in you until you make it. Even the people closest to you. And that is partly what drives me.

anyways i feel no hatred or anything towards anyone. just had to get that off my chest. tbh i love life and i just wanna improve.
