Despite my comment, I condemn the people who make racist/hateful comments about latin-Americans & Mexicans ITT.
Saying that the USA is an Anglophone culture part of Western civilization, that I hope maintains its Anglo culture, absolutely does not mean that other cultures are bad or to be insulted. In fact I feel Mexicans are a good hard-working people despite the troubles they have in their country. Latin Americans are also an interesting set of cultures.

So yeah I disassociate myself totally from hateful comments. This is not what loving your own country & culture is about.
People need to understand that what made America (and any civilization) great is not its hate towards others but its own greatness, which isn't improved by stupid prejudice.

Wouldn't you agree however that the USA is a Western Anglo culture and that you came there precisely to "make it" in a White country?
Do you want this country, to become Cuba? To forsake its entire ethnic makeup & civilisation to become a Hispanic country (Ironically the one you have left)?

Obviously no rational person dislikes a person based on his heritage, especially someone hard working & tax paying like you, but that isn't the argument (except for a few attention seekers in this thread). The argument is that you immigrated to a White Western country founded upon European principles of law & human rights, and it needs to stay this way to maintain its identity as the USA, the country you love and emigrated to.

To put it another way...I am French. And for example if I emigrated to USA, I really wouldn't wish the USA to all of the sudden adopt French as official language, and French customs & laws, and bury its heritage. I wouldn't wish on any country including Mexico & Latin America (I wouldnt want them to start thinking like us...They have an amazing culture and should keep it).
