I'm enjoying it because I don't have my GameBoy anymore because I gave it to my little brother over a decade ago and it's fun to have a slightly nostalgic experience with Pokemon again. Whatever game is the most current in the main series. But even then, the repetitive turnbased combat gets tedious really fast.

Pokemon is a game that gets sold off of the premise, raising a monster to battle, and it's a great idea, but I know for a fact most people drop it well before they catch all the pokemon their game offers, or can make a competitive ''pvp'' team.

Most will play up to and beat the elite four and then are done with it.

I never would have downloaded this retarded app, but my buddy had texted me and said "Yo, I'm gonna get day drunk in public and roam around playing Pokemon Go. You in?" Well yea, I'm down with public day drinking, might as well add some Pokemon Go to the mix, fuk it. We got a legit, in real life side quest. Some little terrier puppy ran up to us from a yard. We grabbed him by the collar and knocked on the door of the house, but no one answered. So we let him go again, not knowing what to do. Then he started roaming further away, so I told the group (there was 5 of us at this point) "We should probably catch him and look at his collar and just bring him home." Little sh!t kept running into the road, almost got hit twice. We had to save the little fuk. As we were bringing him home, some older guy saw, said "I was trying to catch that dog earlier." So he joins the party for whatever reason. We make it to the house on the collar (it was like a 1 mile walk) and a mother and daughter answer the door. The daughter was this smoking hot blonde Polish girl. They both had goofy accents and everything. Would have smashed her and her mom out.

Then, we resume our Pokemon master quest, and old dude starts trying to sell us on some pyramid scheme bullsh!t. The entire group but one kid keeps walking to a nearby Pokestop. The one kid (our "Dark Merchant" as one of the other kids suggested) ended up warding off this dude. Just as he caught up with us, a Ford Focus with two decent looking chicks drives by and they yell out "Pokemon Go!" I yelled "Ayyoo come squad up!" Then we reach an intersection, and a friend of ours joins us on foot. We keep walking, and see this autistic kid wearing an avengers shirt. He's playing as well, so we're like "Squad up, B!"

All in all, it was a hilarious journey. Bunch of grown ass men playing Pokemon go.

Haven't played it yet, but I think a new era of nerds who go outside is a good thing and hopefully this could be the start of it, it's also created by the same company that made Ingress, which was an amazing game.

Pokemon has been alive and well for around 20 years. Anybody who has ever played an online game before could have predicted how popular a multiplayer pokemon game would be.
