the difference is most religions were started so long ago that it gives it a semblance of credibility. scientology was basically started last week by this guy and he talks about aliens from space:

most people know about scientology now tho. its not like before the internet where they would indoctrinate you and then you learned all that stuff by the time they had you. that's why membership is dwindling so much (actually same can be said for most religions).

Not a clue. Hoping this is the last one (for this place). Still not counting my chickens ... Especially since I'm not positive I'm exactly qualified for it. 8|

With this particular place, I have applied and been immediately rejected for positions as being unqualified (w/ minimum requirement of high school degree), smh.
Same place, I also have repeatedly applied for various positions in one state, only to be asked to apply for that position in a different state, or a more senior position elsewhere. Sometimes apply for those positions, aaaand I don't get further than that.

This position is in location other than what I really want/prefer. For some reason, I keep getting rerouted to Las Vegas sites whenever I apply for gigs in Minnesota, Ohio, etc. But if it gets me out of here, I'm game. <shrug>
