I have never seen a thread where people always list salary and location. Its always some ******* australian tradie who comes in and says they make 100k+. Or someone in california making 100k where in alabama they would be making 50k.

Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it's overlooked, just that it was overlooked by you. I'm going to take a look at salaries for my field in Alabama later as a matter of interest. I highly doubt it's anywhere close to 50% less than in CA.

I dont live nor have I lived in alabama. I was just saying. I can tell you that my base salary when I worked in Florida would double going to california. However with nursing, in california it is union where most other places are not. That is partly why salary and work conditions for nurses are better in california.

In my experience female nurses go out often, drink often, tinder often, etc(sloots). Not sure about use of anything illegal as I dont use it. I have known a couple nurses who admitted to smoking weed but I generally try to stay out of that chit. Dont tell me because I dont want to know sort of thing.

Yea the union rates make sense. I'm going to take a look at salaries. I've been interested but haven't really look at it for years since I see no immediate need to change my situation.

The nurse sloot thing definitely rings true. The other part is just because you're a ******* and the people who party don't aware you. In my experience most nurses, male and female party really hard with way better chit than some weed. Anyway, to each his own m8.

No my parents never gave me **** growing up, and I love them for that. Like I said I have a whole thread on my hustle, but I got my job by networking while working in a pharmacy. One day a guy came in and I liked his watch (breitling) and I convinced him to set me up for an interview once I found out he was doing finance at a dealership. I worked sales while in college, woke up at 6am, went to class until 9am, went to work without going home until 8pm, went back to night classes until 10pm, went home changed and went to gym, then sleep and repeat. I'm successful because my work ethic is unlike any other person around me.

If you are someone who lets a coworker know about your substance abuse as a nurse then you are a ******* who has far too much trust. I did not even let people know I chewed tobacco because I put non tobacco user on my insurance. If you worked in nursing you would understand. There are no secrets, it is a female majority profession.

Its not a salary job its commission based + base pay. When I was in sales I was bringing home 100k a year, I set myself up to take over a position once I got the other finance guy to quit and open his own dealership, and when he left I was the best candidate for the job.

~60 apartments across 4 contiguous buildings. getting by on 38k is impossible... but i dont pay rent. it's all pocket money for me, minus phone bill and going out. dad's a super and i live with him. isavearound 24k per year after taxes or something like that. i spend only $200 a week max.

it also helps that i don't drink, and i don't spend money on clothes and all that bs. i have a gf and nobody to impress. i also walk to work (phuck paying $116 a month for a metro card) and bring my food to work with me and dont buy lunch (phuck spending $200 a month on lunch when i can have my mom's banging home made food - albanian crew)

in other words if i actually get a good, 70k job, my life will turn around. i'll have 100k in the bank by the time i'm 26 if i get somethingn like that.

I took civil, most of my experience has been in code consulting in building design/construction, and now it's mostly project management ~ 10 years in private sector and 3 in prov. government. cost of living in atlantic canada is pretty low, probably among the lowest in Canada...except our HST just went up 2% and job market is usually bleak. You ever consider northern manitoba at the Keeyask Generating Station? I know some tech's up there making sick money!!! Sask and Man are hotbeds right now!
