Do guys with 'tough guy' type tattoos think other men are scared of them?
The aura might work with women, but it has the hugely negative side effect of making it a thousand times more likely you'll get into a fight. Other normal men are going to be tense and wary around you instead of feeling relaxed, not scared or frightened. Some special breed of retards are even going to feel challenged and purposely try to fight you. Not to mention you're a target for the police 24/7. If a normal guy bumped into me or something and acted a little aggressive I'd be less likely to throw a punch cause I don't know if the normal guy is just talking crap.. but mr. tough guy with tattoos is going to meet a man who's prepared 99% of the time. Only time it might work is if he's with his 10 other tough guy tatted group and considering I know they're all scum who will jump in I might try to back out of the situation. Considering they usually do do it to copy their friends and form groups I suppose it works in those situations. But having those sorts of friends again makes it far more likely you'll end up in a fight due to any one of them getting into such a situation and forcing you into it. Most of the time tough guy tattooed men are just fighting other tough guy tattooed men, not normal people. And tattoos last forever, friends don't.

I spent 10+ years as a bouncer, the only time I ever concern myself with someone's tattoo is when they have a face/neck tattoo and for this very reason.
Other than that - OP is way off. I know guys with "scary" tattoos that are not tough, but I also know guys with them that I would never mess with.

I don't give a chit if some guy is walking around with a catalog book tribal on his shoulder, but if they've got chit all over their face......yeah, they don't give a phuck about anything.....or the consequences of doing phucked up chit.Those are the types of guys that get unto uncontrollable rages during fights, will bash peoples heads in with crow bars or soccerball someones head that is on the ground until they're a vegetable.
